On this day, 46 yrs ago, after running a marathon per day for 143 days for a total distance of 5,373 Km Terry was forced to end his marathon of hope. 😢

September 1, 1980 – After 143 days and 5,373 kilometres Terry was forced to stop running outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario; his primary cancer had spread to his lungs. Before returning to BC for treatment Terry said, “I’m gonna do my very best. I’ll fight. I promise I won’t give up.” Terry Never gave up - and neither will we. Anybody out there willing to donate items for a silent auction at the Terry Fox Run??… sports tickets, memorabilia, various baskets, etc… All proceeds would be donated to the Terry Fox Foundation.

Y’a qq’un qui veut donner des items for une encan silencieuse pour la journée Terry Fox (20 sept.)… billets sportif, objects de collection, paniers divers, etc… Tout les profits serait donné à la Fondation Terry Fox.
