🎃 Get ready for a frightening night of strength, lifting, and laughing at the Halloween Strongman Party! We are hosting a spooktacular fundraiser event for one of our trainers, Tami Newman as she prepares to crush it at the Official Strongman Games this November 20-23rd 2026, in Ocala Florida.
Whether you want to test your limits or just cheer on some incredible athletes, come out to Genesis Fitness on Saturday, October 24th for treats, costumes, and spooky good times.
Here are the frightful feats of strength you can take on (trying all three is highly encouraged, but not required!):
🏋️‍♂️ The Spooky Events
• Jack O’ Lantern to Shoulder: Choose your pumpkin weapon (50, 100, 150, 175, or 200 lbs). You have 60 seconds to lift it to your shoulder and show total control by taking one hand off. Drop, re-pick, and repeat!
• Scarecrow (Yoke) Hold: A “Last Man Standing” showdown. The weight keeps rising, and you must hold it off the ground for 10 seconds. If you drop it early, your last successful weight counts.
• Monster Deadlift: Show us your monstrous power! You get 3 attempts to pull your max weight—choose wisely because NO straps are allowed!
🕒 Event Timeline
• 5:00 PM – Sign-In: Lock in your deadlift weight strategies, grab some delicious treats, and fuel up.
• 6:00 PM – Lifting Starts: The heavy lifting begins!
👻 Costumes & Entry
• Dress to Impress: Costumes are highly encouraged! It’s a Halloween party, after all.
• Entry Fee: $30
• How to Register: Send your registration and e-transfer directly to Tami at [email protected].
