Our 2026 Rocky Mountain House Dancer of the Year is a dancer who has shown exceptional growth and heart throughout her journey with Westland Dance Co.

She consistently demonstrates honesty, resilience, great sportsmanship, and a true passion for dance. She supports those around her, works incredibly hard, and leaves a lasting impact everywhere she goes. This dancer is pure joy.

Shoreline Dance Intensive Sylvan Lake

August 17th & 18th
Time: 9:00am–4:00pm daily
Ages: 7+
Experience Level: Competitive dancers
Cost: $160

Designed specifically for festival and competitive dancers, these full day intensives focus on technique, performance quality, and skill development across multiple styles.
Dancers will be challenged physically and artistically through focused technical training, conditioning, choreography, and performance work in a supportive but driven environment. These intensives are ideal for dancers preparing for the upcoming season.

• Technique and skill refinement
• Strength, flexibility, and conditioning
• Choreography and performance quality
• Musicality, artistry, and stage presence
