RMHA has partnered with Rocky Mountain Physiotherapy & Wellness for the purpose of our players.

At Rocky Mountain Physiotherapy & Wellness, our mission is to support the health, performance, and safety of athletes in our community. We are providing baseline concussion assessments and Y-Balance Testing for your players.

The Y-Balance Test is an evidence-based screening tool that measures balance, coordination, and movement control. Research shows that identifying asymmetries or deficits through this test can:

Why Include the Y Balance Test?
The Y Balance Test is an evidence-based screening tool that measures balance, coordination, and movement control. Research shows that asymmetries or deficits identified through this test can:

* Highlight injury risks: Imbalances greater than 4 cm are associated with higher chances of ankle and knee injuries, including ACL tears.
* Enhance concussion management: Balance control is often impaired following a concussion. Having baseline data allows for more accurate return-to-play decisions.
* Guide targeted training: Results can help coaches, trainers, and therapists design injury-prevention programs tailored to athletes’ needs.

Benefits to RMHA Athletes:

* Establishes an objective baseline before the season begins.
* Enhances player safety and long-term performance.
* Provides parents, coaches, and medical staff with valuable information in case of injury.
* Strengthens RMHA’s commitment to athlete health and development.

It is mandatory that our U15, U16 and U18 players book for these tests.

Anyone within RMHA who is interested in helping organize, plan, or support our upcoming Ball Hockey Tournament is welcome to attend.

How to order:

First Step - Enter in parent name, number and email then click 'continue to order photos’.

Second Step - Search your player by the last name or the first few letters of the last name. Your player(s) name should come up, click the red plus sign button to the left of the name(s) to add them into your cart. You can preview their individual photo by clicking on the green search icon that says ready, then close the preview and click ‘continue to order’.

Third Step - Now you can choose the products you would like to purchase by clicking the red plus button on each item, once done click continue.

Fourth Step - Verifying your cart, if the pencil icon is flashing red please click on it to see the information it requires. This is also the icon to click on to verify your players jersey number and name is spelled correctly. You may make adjustments directly in the order and they will reflect in our system. You can also write a note on this page to ensure any message you’d like to leave will be seen by our team! Once you’ve verified the order click ‘continue’.

Last Step - Please put in your payment if you would like to pay online with a credit card or select the etransfer option and send your payment to [email protected]. If you are paying by etransfer please put your order number in the description.

MVP POLICIES

Missed Photo Day
*Please note the add-in option to the team photo does not apply since your association has chosen to do Actual team photos On-Ice. This means we are setting up the benches for the team photo On-Ice and everyone must be on time for their time slot to ensure they are included in the team photo.

Players that miss photo day are still welcome to book an appointment at our studio Mon-Fri between 1pm-5pm for their individual photo only and will be listed as absent in the team photo. Missed photo day appointments are a 5$ non-refundable fee with no exceptions. Appointments can be booked through the Store Link and if you have any issues please contact MVP directly at 780-458-1688 or by emailing [email protected].

If the appointment availability of Mon-Fri 1pm-5pm doesn’t work with your schedule please contact MVP directly and we can do our best to accommodate a later evening time slot as our schedule varies.

Order Pricing
Early Bird Pricing is available for the first 7 days from photo day, it is already applied to the online store and all orders placed with the first 7 days will be packed in their team box and picked up by the association.

Any orders placed after 7 days will be contacted independently for pick up at our studio. These orders also have the option to pay for shipping to have them sent directly to the parent.
