Rossman Lake Golf and Country Club

Crappy weather for a long weekend ☹️ but we managed to get a few beautiful days. Today not so great and with the rainfall ( 3/4” so far) and projected additional rain today and tomorrow I gotta put out the “NO CARTS” signs. We will see what it’s like Wednesday. Lots of places are squishy already so I wanna preserve the course conditions.

Dine in will close at 5pm today ; we will be hosting ladies night participants only ! Sorry for the inconvenience.

*Update!*

Starting this week, Men’s Night will be starting at 6:30pm.

This week will also be a regular (single) night due to being rained out last week.

The next two-man scramble night will be on September 4th.

Due to the rain last weekend, Glow Golf is rescheduled to this Saturday, August 22nd. We have lots of spots left available for teams!

Well it seems the year of extremes and unusual occurrences. Our year began delayed. Lots of moisture from the sky. Some heavy fast rains but an abundance that wasn’t needed at once. Some wind events and tornado warnings/damage. A cooler beginning to summer….followed by extreme heat. We were frequented by bears for awhile. Lately a bit of a drought until the last rain event of 2.3”. Today was supposed to be sun/ cloud but it’s not. Course is improving but not enough. Gonna keep carts off till tomorrow morning and start the day fresh on Sunday morning.
I just wanna share that it has been a season of surprises. And now lately a new problem…. Oh, aren’t the foxes cute! I thought so too. Until this🤬

Important Update! Glow Golf has been rescheduled to August 22nd due to the rain/course conditions!

Well who would’ve thought we’d get a big shot of rain after a prolonged dry spell? But we did!
We’re at 1 7/10” so far with a bit more to come yet.
With this rain event there is NO CARTS allowed tomorrow. Hopefully we get some excellent drying conditions through the day and Glow Golf can be held tomorrow evening as planned ⛳️
