🩰 Thinking about Pointe? Here is what you need to know! 👇
Ready to elevate your ballet training? Pointework is a beautiful milestone in classical ballet, but safety and strength always come first at The Studio.
🌟Here is our quick guide for dancers and parents:
🦴 Age & Development: Most dancers start between ages 10–13 once foot bones are fully developed.
💪 Strength First: Core, ankle, calf, and foot strength are non-negotiable. Instructors assess alignment and stability before giving the green light.
📅 Commitment: To keep dancers safe, students must attend at least 2 ballet classes and 2 pointe classes per week.
👥 Parents Welcome: On your dancer's first week en pointe, we love having parents drop in to chat with the instructor!
