Our second round of Terrific Trees is here!
Trees are our community’s vital source of clean air, a refuge from the summer heat, and a natural barrier that helps reduce heavy rain runoff, preventing flooding in our yards and on our roads. The Tantramar’s Terrific Trees program celebrates these community rockstars.

The process of putting the ice back in at the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre kicked off this morning with our fantastic parks staff working on getting the base of the ice put in. They are now working at getting all of the lines placed and painted. Our ice will be up and ready to go by next week! We can’t wait to welcome you all back to the rink when the ice is ready to go!

Due to the forecasted weather, the Mounties Football Family Fest event planned for September 4 has been postponed.
But don’t worry — we’re bringing the fun to Fall Fair & Homecoming Weekend! 🎉
Join us on September 19th from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Chester Cole Memorial Ball Field for Fall Fair Family Day and some pre-game Mounties fun!
Kids will have the chance to meet Mounties players, throw the football around, play some football, and enjoy activities with family and friends.
🎟️ Bonus: Youth wearing a Minor Sports jersey to the event will receive a free ticket to the Mounties Homecoming football game at 2 p.m.!
Come out and enjoy some football fun before kickoff!
Learn about our Leaders-in-Training Program (L.I.T.)!
The L.I.T. Program gives youth ages 13–16 the opportunity to gain valuable leadership and real-world work experience while volunteering with our children's programs and events. Through hands-on experience and weekly leadership sessions, participants develop skills in teamwork, communication, responsibility, and leadership while making a positive impact in our community.
Our L.I.T program has wrapped up for the summer, but we would love to have new youth join us next year. Find more information about events and program online at TantramarNB.com/programs
