VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

The 5th Annual Race by-the-Sea Dragon Boat Festival is coming to Katy’s Cove on Saturday, September 19!

Now one of the premier dragon boat festivals in Atlantic Canada, Race by-the-Sea is a fantastic day of racing, community spirit and fun—and it takes a great team of volunteers to make it happen.

We’re looking for 30–35 volunteers to help with a variety of duties throughout the day.

You do NOT need to be a paddler to volunteer! And you don’t have to commit to the entire day—even a couple of hours would be greatly appreciated.

They say many hands make light work & our crew proved that this morning… we had our regular practice (it was pretty gusty at times!!) and then everyone got to work scrubbing the bottom of all 4 boats! Bravo & thank you!! Great job everyone!

Due to the inclement weather predicted for tomorrow, the Quoddy Link Fundraiser Cruise is rescheduled for next Thursday, September 10th, at the same time (departure at 5:30)
