From "I'm not sure about tournaments" to big putts and 2x second place finishes 🥈🥈 at the Spartan Discs 's Open B-tier this past weekend for Kristie Litt (FA4) and Andréa Michaud (FA3).

It was so wonderful to have Diana PS join our Monday club night!!! Tasha Dowd and she got to meet at the CWE/WGE in St. Catharines last weekend and tonight was redemption for BOTH of these ladies! *(In much nicer weather!)

Tasha with an impressive 5 birdies lit up the fairways with her expert forehand throws. Diana shaved 9 STROKES off her score tonight too!

Building friendships and helping each other to improve is a huge part of our club. These 2 ladies are sure to match up again soon 💪 We always love to have visiting women join our Monday evening rounds. Find our events on udisc and feel free to join us whenever you're in the area.

After donating her cash $50 CTP from the WGE in Niagara Falls to the CWE/WGE in St. Catharines this past weekend, a very deserving new member of our club won her PDGA number. Tasha Dowd has been playing less than a year and was against a veteran in FA3 this past weekend. They were tied more times than I could count! She's certainly a gal to watch 👀 During the raffle, club member handed off a few of her tickets and Tasha was able to snag this amazing prize 🥹

Janet's outstanding kindness has given this lady a chance to compete in more sanctioned tournaments and hone her skills.

I don't even feel thank you is a near strong enough sentiment... this is purely the best of women supporting women ❤

Growing the sport and introducing disc golf to juniors is a huge part of our club. We were given the opportunity to share disc golf with a group of Sparks Girl Guides!

These feisty 5-7 year olds had a blast learning to throw and putt 💪 They listened well and followed rules to help keep everyone safe. It was beautiful to see them encouraging their friends and trying to throw further each time 🥹

When girls are involved in sports they gain and hone essential skills like teamwork, decision making, leadership and confidence. It promotes mental well-being, builds robust self-esteem, improves academic performance, and fosters lifelong learning skills.
