“Food can be our greatest form of medicine or our slowest form of poison.” I don’t believe it is my journey to convert everyone into a carnivore, however, I will try my best and be an advocate on the impact of food and our health. We seem to be straying from the concept of what it means to eat healthy. To slow down and enjoy food in its proper form. I pray there is more awareness and education around the power of food and its importance on our health.
If the devil can’t make us sin, he will distract us. How many times do we as a society view food as a means to numb our emotions, fill a void or as a source of entertainment. Taking our hearts and eyes away from what is spiritually filling, and acknowledging God in our lives. The true source of what will really fill us in the way that we are longing for.
I don’t personally think everyone needs to eat a carnivore diet, but many of us use food as a distraction, leading us astray from the most important thing in this lifetime.
I am thankful to God every day to eat in a way that is simple, nourishing and allows me to do all that I can with God’s grace. God bless
If you are stuck, or experiencing weight gain on the carnivore diet, let’s take a look at what and how much you are eating. Overeating dairy, butter, additional fats can quickly add up if we are not aware of how much we are consuming. Tracking may seem tedious but once you have a grasp of how much you need, it’s a walk in the park! God bless
By prioritizing protein, it has helped me stay consistent with eating, maintaining a lean physique and great recovery from my workouts. I eat approximately 2-1 ratio in terms of protein and fats. I find this way of carnivore works for me. My hormones are balanced and my moods and sleep have been very consistent. I keep things simple for a reason and it works. God bless

Not the mouth watering steak one is used to seeing on a carnivore post! Knowing I would be out all day, I prepped my food in advance and this did me just fine: )
Being a mom of 4 busy athletic kids, I had to learn to be organized. I always hated stopping at fast food places so I would take the time to prep our foods when we would travel for our games or tournaments. I still do this now, and it’s been a big part of what keeps me on track and consistent. This is nothing fancy, but it fuels me properly and helps keep me satiated and on the right path. There comes a time when we need to take ownership and realize that we can make every excuse we want, but in the end, it’s the choice that we make ourselves that will help us towards a healthier life, or one that takes us two steps off course. Both meals today on the go were the same. 16 ounces ground turkey with 3 hard boiled eggs… salted nicely ! God bless

Hitting protein first is my goal on carnivore. I don’t eat very fatty cuts of meat and don’t add additional fat to my meals. My meals are repetitive and simple for a reason. I appreciate the simplicity and how each of these foods make me feel. I am very blessed and grateful to have found this way of eating.
Carnivore is not a cookie cutter diet. We must take into account how different metabolically we are and what are issues or goals are that will affect which way of eating we prefer. God bless
1. I do drink coffee pre workout and train fasted. I take electrolytes pre and post workout.
2. In my pictures, my meat sources include this week, ground turkey, eggs, shrimp and sirloin tip. hormones
Following a high protein carnivore diet has been very beneficial for me during this stage of my life. It has helped keep me balanced hormonally, physically and mentally.
Diet and exercise play an important role during this time of our lives. Ladies, let’s do what we can to make this transition enjoyable and symptom free. Using food and movement are two tools we have access to that can be instrumental to this process.
Even if you do not follow a carnivore diet, I strongly recommend eating adequate protein, especially for women during mid age years. At a minimum, we should be consuming at least one gram per body weight. Myself, I eat way more than that, and contrary to popular belief, extra protein does not turn into fat.
If you are struggling on the carnivore diet, gaining weight, losing hair, losing muscle, unhappy with your body composition, the answer is not add more fat.
1. Protein keeps you fuller longer. Having more protein in our diet, helps with appetite control as it keeps you satiated reducing the urge to snack or overeat.
2. Protein requires more energy for your body to digest (thermic effect) compared to fats or carbohydrates, which slightly increases calorie burn, which helps boost your metabolism.
3. Protein is essential for building lean muscle mass and preventing muscle wasting as you age, especially when combined with strength training. Protein preserves muscle and stimulates growth.
4. Protein helps promote healing. Amino acids are the building blocks needed to repair tissues, heal wounds, and recover from illness or injury.
5. Protein is essential in maintaining proper blood sugar levels. Protein slows down digestion, preventing glucose spikes.
