Paje Brennan is a co-coach for the Bronze competitive group! Paje swam competitively with Brock Niagara Aquatics for 15 years, beginning in the Olympic Way program before joining the competitive team a year later.

Paje went on to attend Brock University in the Concurrent Education program in the Junior/Intermediate stream, with a teachable in General Science. While at Brock, Paje was also a member of the Brock University swim team, where she competed for four years.

Paje recently graduated from Brock University and is now completing her Master of Education with a concentration in Second Language Education at the University of Ottawa, while also working toward her Primary teaching qualification.

She is so excited to continue coaching the Bronze group and begin her fourth season with the team!

Liam McKenna has been competitively swimming for the past 12 years. He has been a member of the Brock men’s varsity swim team for the past four season and was a previous member of Laurentian University’s varsity swimming team. Liam is currently in his Master of Applied Health Science in kinesiology at Brock. Liam is excited to coach and share his expertise in sprint freestyle with you.

Kamryn is a concurrent education student with a focus on Primary/Junior learners, bringing over 12 years of swimming experience to the pool. She has coached a variety of age groups and swim teams, showcasing her versatility and passion for working with young athletes.

Kate is a Concurrent Education student with a focus on the Junior/Intermediate age group. She swam competitively for 6 years with the Sarnia Rapids Swim Team, where she developed her passion for coaching. Throughout her coaching experience, Kate has working with a variety of swimmers, from novice level to masters. Kate is excited for the upcoming season to help swimmers develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the sport.

Gökhan Bozyigit continues as Associate Head Coach and lead coach of the Gold Group this season.

A BNA and Brock Badgers alumnus, Gökhan has been coaching with BNA since 2017. Before moving to Canada, he raced across Europe as part of Turkey’s Junior and Youth National Teams. At Brock, he served as team captain, earned OUA medals, competed in U SPORTS A‑finals, and was named Team MVP. He is also a multi‑time Ontario provincial champion in both pool and open water.

Gökhan holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and a Master of Applied Health Sciences, where his research focused on sprint performance across all four strokes. He has also served as a lead coach at Swim Ontario Provincial Camps, supporting athlete development and performance pathways.

Head Coach: Dave Ling

BNA Alumni Dave Ling took over our program as Head Coach of Brock Niagara Aquatics at 2023.

He has coached the Newmarket Stingrays for the past two seasons and previously led the St. John’s Legends Swim Club in Newfoundland for four years. He also served as a coach at the Toronto Swim Club for eight years.

As a student-athlete, Ling competed for the University of Toronto and served as captain of the Varsity Blues for three seasons. He’s a former Academic All-Canadian, five-time Ontario University Athletics (OUA) all-star and recipient of the 2004 OUA Award of Distinction.
 
Ling participated in the 2000 and 2004 Canadian Olympic Swimming Trials and represented Canada at the 2000 FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships in Hawaii.

Dave has been coaching for the last 16 years all over the country and working with athletes in from learn to swim to international level athletes. Currently Dave is coaching our Diamond group and Brock Varsity Badgers.
