Did you know the Saint John Stars were the only female team to play in the Saint John Lacrosse Association in 1981, and they did it against all-male competition?

Their legacy is part of what makes Saint John a true lacrosse city, and it’s a reminder of how far the game has come (and who helped push it forward).

This August, we’re proud to welcome the lacrosse community back to Saint John for the 2026 Founders Cup.
