Hi! I'm Stephanie.

I’m a personal trainer who works with pre and postnatal women that want to stay active during their pregnancy and return to fitness pain free after delivery.

For years, I tried to be easier to understand.

Less intense.
Less emotional.
Less passionate.
Less outspoken.

Less me.

I thought if I softened my edges, everyone would be more comfortable.

If I explained myself better.
If I toned things down.
If I fit into the right boxes.

Maybe then I'd belong.

But the truth is, every time I made myself smaller, I felt further away from who I really was.

And eventually, I got tired.

Tired of editing myself.

Tired of apologizing for taking up space.

Tired of questioning whether I was too much.

Because the things that make us different are often the things that make us powerful.

The parts of me that love movement.
The parts of me that crave nature.
The parts of me that believe healing can be both evidence-based and deeply soulful.

Those aren't contradictions.

They're who I am.

And I'm no longer interested in shrinking myself into something more digestible for other people.

I'd rather be fully expressed than universally understood.

I'd rather be authentic than approved of.

Because there is a freedom that comes when you stop asking for permission to be yourself.

And once you taste that freedom, it's very hard to go back.

✨ What part of yourself are you done apologizing for?

One of the most common things I hear from postpartum moms is:

"My core just doesn't work anymore."

The truth is, your core has been through a lot.

During pregnancy, your abdominal wall stretches, your breathing mechanics change, and your body adapts to support a growing baby.

After birth, many women are left feeling disconnected from their core and unsure where to begin.

That's where the conversation around Diastasis Recti often starts.

But recovery isn't just about closing a gap.

It's about restoring function.

Can your core manage pressure?

Can it support your everyday movements?

Can it work together with your breath and pelvic floor?

Those questions matter far more than a number measured with your fingers.

Your body isn't failing you.

It's communicating with you.

And with the right support, your core can become strong, functional, and resilient again.

💛 Healing isn't about forcing your body to "bounce back."

It's about rebuilding trust in what your body can do.

Motherhood is physically demanding.

You're lifting babies.
Carrying car seats.
Hauling groceries.
Pushing strollers.
Running after tiny humans.

That's why rebuilding strength isn't about looking a certain way.

It's about supporting the life you live every day.

Try this full-body dumbbell workout:

✔ Goblet Squat x 10-12
✔ Single Arm Row x 10/side
✔ Dumbbell Romanian Deadlift x 10-12
✔ Half-Kneeling Dumbbell Press x 8/side
✔ Farmer Carry x 30-60 seconds

Complete 2-3 rounds.

Remember: rebuilding doesn't mean starting from scratch.

Every workout.
Every walk.
Every rep.

You're building strength one step at a time.

Save this workout for later and let me know if you try it! 💛

For a long time, I thought growth meant becoming someone new.

A better version.
A more successful version.
A more polished version.

But lately, I've realized something different.

The most meaningful growth in my life hasn't been about becoming.

It's been about remembering.

Remembering the little girl who found magic in the woods.

Remembering the woman who feels most alive outside, barefoot, connected to the earth.

Remembering that strength and softness can exist in the same body.

Remembering that my voice matters.

Remembering that I don't have to make myself smaller to make other people comfortable.

There was a time when I carefully edited myself.

I worried about being too much.

Too emotional.
Too passionate.
Too unconventional.

Now I understand that the things I tried to hide were never flaws.

They were clues.

Clues pointing me back toward myself.

And every time I choose authenticity over approval, I feel a little more free.

A little more aligned.

A little more whole.

This isn't just self-expression.

It's the liberation that happens when you stop abandoning yourself and start honoring who you've always been.

And maybe that's what healing really is.

Not becoming someone else.

But finally allowing yourself to be fully seen.

✨ What part of yourself are you reclaiming right now?

Motherhood asks a lot of your body.

Hours of feeding.
Carrying children on one hip.
Pushing strollers.
Lifting car seats.
Rocking babies to sleep.

It's no surprise that many moms end up with aching shoulders, tight necks, and persistent back pain.

But what we often call "mom posture" isn't simply about standing up straighter.

It's about how your body has adapted to the demands being placed on it every day.

That's why stretching the sore spots rarely fixes the problem for long.

The solution is often a combination of:

✔ Better movement patterns
✔ Core support
✔ Upper back strength
✔ Breathing mechanics
✔ Functional strength training

Because your body deserves the same care and support that you give everyone else.

You shouldn't have to accept pain as part of motherhood.

I spent years trying to look normal.

Normal enough.
Quiet enough.
Responsible enough.
Successful enough.

I learned how to blend in.

How to tone myself down.
How to keep certain parts of myself hidden.
How to be what other people expected.

But every time I made myself smaller to fit in, I felt a little more disconnected from who I really was.

The truth?

I’ve always been a little wild.

I’ve always loved the woods.
The moon.
Movement.
Magic.
Creating things with my hands.
Finding beauty in places other people overlook.

As a little girl, I made potions from leaves and flowers and believed there was magic everywhere.

Somewhere along the way, I convinced myself that version of me needed to grow up.

Now I realize she was never the problem.

She was the guide.

The more I’ve allowed myself to show up authentically—as a woman, a mother, a coach, and a human—the more alive I’ve felt.

Not everyone will understand you when you stop trying to fit in.

And that’s okay.

Your job isn’t to be easily understood.

Your job is to be fully expressed.

Because this isn’t just self-expression.

It’s soul liberation.

✨ What’s one part of yourself you’re learning to embrace again?

"Why do I still look pregnant?"

It's a question many women ask themselves after having a baby.

And often, the assumption is that the answer must be weight loss.

But postpartum recovery is about so much more than body size.

Your abdomen may still appear rounded because of:

▪ Core weakness or disconnection
▪ Diastasis recti
▪ Pressure management challenges
▪ Postural adaptations
▪ Pelvic floor dysfunction

These are functional issues, not personal failures.

Your body has been through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It isn't broken, and it isn't working against you.

It may simply need guidance, support, and a chance to rebuild.

That's why postpartum rehab focuses on restoring function first.

Because when your core learns to work well again, strength becomes easier to build, symptoms often improve, and your body starts feeling more like home again.

Your body isn't failing you.

It's communicating with you.

Somewhere along the way, many women were taught that their bodies are projects.

Something to shrink.
Something to fix.
Something to constantly work on.

Then motherhood arrives and the messages get louder.

Bounce back.
Lose the baby weight.
Get your body back.

As if your body is something you've lost.

As if the body that carried, birthed, fed, comforted, and cared for your children is somehow less worthy than the one that came before.

But what if your body isn't a problem to fix?

What if it's a relationship to rebuild?

What if healing isn't about becoming smaller, tighter, or more disciplined?

What if it's about learning to trust your body again?

To listen to it.

To support it.

To move it in ways that feel good.

To appreciate what it's carried you through.

At Bump & Beyond, I don't believe your body needs punishment.

I believe it deserves support.

Because strength isn't about changing who you are.

It's about reconnecting with yourself.

And from that place, everything else becomes possible.

✨ What is one thing your body has carried you through that you're grateful for today?

One of the most common things I hear from moms is:

"I thought leaking was just part of motherhood."

The truth is that leaking can happen for many different reasons, and strengthening your pelvic floor isn't always the answer.

Sometimes the muscles need more support.

Sometimes they need to learn how to relax.

Sometimes it's a pressure management issue involving your breath, core, and pelvic floor working together.

That's why postpartum rehab isn't about doing more Kegels.

It's about understanding how your body functions as a whole.

Because while leaking is common, it isn't something you should simply accept as your new normal.

Your body is communicating something.

Let's figure out what it's trying to tell you.

📩 DM "PELVIC" if you're ready to learn more.

One of the biggest myths in postpartum recovery is that healing ends at six weeks.

The reality?

Six weeks is often just the beginning.

Many moms leave their clearance appointment still dealing with leaking, back pain, core weakness, pelvic pressure, or a body that simply doesn't feel like their own.

And because they've been told everything is "fine," they assume these symptoms are just part of motherhood.

They're common.

But they aren't something you have to simply live with.

Postpartum recovery should include rebuilding your core, restoring pelvic floor function, improving movement patterns, and gradually returning to strength in a way that supports your body—not works against it.

You deserve more than being cleared.

You deserve to feel strong, confident, and supported.
