The KYC Saints would like to ask our hockey family and community to keep Mike Higgins and his family in their thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Mike is currently on life support following complications related to a severe asthma attack. As he continues to fight this battle, we ask everyone to come together in support of him and his loved ones.

Mike is more than just a member of our team. He is a valued teammate, friend, and part of our family. The strength of the hockey community has always been its ability to rally around those who need it most, and today we ask that you do the same for Mike.

Please keep Mike, his family, friends, and everyone affected in your thoughts and prayers.

The 2026 Metro Ball Hockey League season is on the horizon, and we’re gearing up for another competitive, fast-paced, and unforgettable year on the floor! Whether you’re a returning Sawyer or thinking about joining the club for the first time, we want to hear from you.

This weekend, we hit pause on the finals to gather for one of our annual traditions — the Golden Chainsaw Award BBQ. A chance to come together as a team, reflect on how far we’ve come, and celebrate another successful season of Sawyers ball hockey.

Huge thanks to our players, families, volunteers, and supporters who make this possible year after year. The support means everything. 🙌

We’re not done yet. The fight continues Sunday August 24 as the Sawyers look to fight back from 0-2.

Finals schedule for the 2025 Tier II Championship Series.

Excited to share that we’re working with the Town of Hampton to coordinate a Men’s Winter Ball Hockey League at the Mike Murphy Memorial Fieldhouse!

This would be ball hockey on a full-sized arena floor — as opposed to smaller gym floors used in other leagues.
