Australian rules: Moncton plays host to Festival of Footy For the first time ever, Moncton played host to an Australian Rules Football match, which is also known as “footy.”

On June 8, 2024, the Saint John Bulldogs took the field for the very first time, beginning a journey that would lay the foundation for something special. That history-making squad started a club built on community, passion, and a love for the game.

Now, just two summers later, we are proud to celebrate another historic moment: Julija Rans and Costa Kolyvas have been selected to represent Team Canada at the 49th Parallel Cup! 🇨🇦

They are the first Saint John Bulldogs players to represent Canada on the national stage, marking an incredible milestone for our young club and everyone who has been part of this journey.

From building a team from the ground up to seeing our players wear the maple leaf, this is what the Bulldogs are all about: creating opportunities for our athletes to grow, compete, and reach new heights.

Congratulations Julija and Costa. We couldn’t be prouder to have you representing the Bulldogs and Canada. ❤️💙

A little late, but we had an absolute blast hosting the Maine Cats during our bye weekend! 🐶🤝🐱 Thanks for making the trip to Saint John! It was a great day of footy and even better company.
