⚡️ Thunder Strikes ⚡️

The U11A Thunder put together a strong full-team effort and came away with a big 2–0 win tonight!

Thunder were flying—working hard on the forecheck, battling along the boards, and keeping the pressure on all over the ice. The defence held things down in our end while the offence found their chances and buried a pair to give Thunder the lead. Between the pipes was lights-out goaltending, shutting the door and securing the shutout to seal the victory.

🚨 Goal Scorers - Brielle Smith and Cam Fraser

📣 KC Player of the Game - RYKER LEBLANC was dialed in from puck drop to the final buzzer. Turning aside every shot that came his way, he backstopped the Thunder to a 2–0 shutout victory. Calm, composed, and battle-ready, he stood tall under pressure and never wavered, making key saves to ensure the hard work in the offensive zone paid off. Save after save, shift after shift, he stayed locked in and gave his team the confidence to push forward. Great game, little tendy. That’s how you defend home ice! 💪🏽🥅

What a way to wrap up the season on home ice. The support from the stands all year has meant a lot to this group. Thanks to everyone who came out and made our rink such a great place to play. 🏒⚡💙

🏒 Game Recap 🏒

Another tight battle for the U11A Thunder tonight!
It was a hard-fought, back-and-forth game that could have gone either way, but we came up just short with a 1–0 final. The effort was there from puck drop to the final buzzer — strong defensive plays, relentless backchecking, and plenty of pressure in the offensive zone.

📣 KC Player of the Game - RHYS BOUCHER stood on his head tonight and gave us a chance right to the final whistle. Calm under pressure, locked in all game, making big saves when it mattered most, even sacrificing his equipment to stop a big shot. That’s grit, that’s compete, that’s leadership from the crease. Effort and determination was all over this little tendy tonight. Proud of this kid and the way he battles for his team! 💪🏽🥅

Sometimes hockey comes down to a single bounce, and tonight that bounce didn’t go our way. But the compete level, teamwork, and heart these players showed is something to be proud of. Games like this build character and make us stronger. 💙⚡️
