15 SJOE members enjoyed a coastal hike today along Troy's Trail, Split Rock Trail and then back to Black's Beach.
It was a great day for a hike! The scenery was beautiful! A few seals popped their heads up to say hello and it was nice to see several other groups enjoying the trails.
Thanks Paula for organizing.

A big thank you to Donnie and Ruth for opening their beautiful summer home on the Bellisle, on Saturday July 18th, to 31 SJOE members for a great social get together and a pot luck supper.
Lots of stories and laughs were shared and a good time was had by all. We all agreed that SJOE members are great cooks and bakers!!
Just a great day!! Thanks again to Donnie and Ruth for being such great hosts!!

On Saturday, July 11, 2026, 7 Saint John Outdoor Enthusiast members set out for a hike from Black Beach on the coastal side to Cheeseman Beach through the Lorneville connector and the extra kilometer route because of high tide. This only totalled 6k but felt like 10km. On the return, we took a more direct route and crossed the stream at low tide plus the inner trail of Black Beach Trail which was 4.5 km return and felt like 8k. This is one of the nicest rugged trails in Southern New Brunswick
