Tonight is our final Mixed Night of the season! 5:15 start! Grab a partner and book a slot. Looks like a large crowd! $5 members $15 non members.

We've got Cooke here tomorrow for their Charity Tournament. Start time is 9am, please be here by 8:45. For those of you with carts reserved, they will be lined up with your name on the front. Carts are to be paid for in the pro shop. Keys will be given out when we are ready to go! Tee times are available after 2pm tomorrow.

We are wide open on Sunday and Monday of this long weekend! Don't forget Monday's are 2 for 1 even if they fall on a holiday! Book a time and come on out and enjoy some fantastic conditions!

Senior morning is cancelled. It looks like the rain is going to roll in around 9 and hang around all day.....first time the meteorologists have been right about rain for months!

Our annual Ironman 3 Man Scramble on Saturday, September 19th continues to be as popular as ever! I've opened up space for 5 more teams but once those are filled that's it! Cost is $150 per team and includes a practice round, meal and $1000's in prizes! Brent MacDougall (MacDougall Security Documents) and Manzer Young (Fundy Building Inspection) are once again sponsoring this great event! It's a can't miss event so make sure to sign up soon!

Our Ironmaiden 3 Woman Scramble on Sunday, September 20th is also filling up nicely! Matt Harvey & Subway is once again sponsoring this year! Cost is the same at $150 per team and includes a practice round, meal and lots of prizes! You will be playing the men's regular white tees and the same disgusting pins that the guys are playing Saturday! Give us a call to get signed up!

Saturday is the Team Cooke Charity 4 Person Scramble. 9am start (tee times available after 2). They are supporting Eye Care projects in the Philippines! There is space for a couple more teams but note all the carts are reserved. It's $45 for members, $65 for guests. If you happen to have any extra eye glasses laying around the house, feel free to drop them off in the shop this week and we will see to it that Ray and the crew get them on Saturday!

FYI Flakeboard is here for a small company outing this afternoon but we have lots of tee time available today after 2!

Ladies, don't forget that tomorrow's finale is a 10am start! Please be here by 9:45 so we can announce groups and holes. Tomorrow counts for the points and everything is the same as any other week other than it being 18 holes! We have lots of tee times available throughout the day for regular play tomorrow as well!

We crowned a couple more Club Champs earlier this week! Gord Dunn is our Super Senior Men's Champion and Dawson Lambert is our Junior Club Champ! We had our largest turn out in a decade for the Junior Championship and it was great to see all the kids out there!

The guys started laying drain tile on #15 by the 150 marker today. It could be a bit messy there for the next day or two but based on the early results from #6, it will be worth it.

The weather held off yesterday and we ended up with a pretty decent day for our final round of the Club Championship! Jake Estabrooks held on to win the Men’s Title while Chris Penney held on to win the Senior Men’s Championship. Allison Atkinson ran away with the ladies title while Patty Lindsay won the Senior Ladies title! All the winners are below! On the bottom of the post are tomorrow’s tee times for the Super Senior & Junior Club Championship!

The course looks fantastic this morning! It took the rain very well. There's a few puddles out there but I can happily say #6 fairway is puddle free! Calvin is getting the greens mowed now.

The forecast looks a million times better and we shouldn't have any issue getting today in, yes there may be a shower or two but nothing major. We will be making a bit of an adjustment to the corn boil. Rather than having a set time we will start serving as the players start coming off the course. Final groups should start coming in around 3:15.

FYI- NO RANGS Yesterday. All the $ is on the line today!

Be sure to grab your scorecard and new rules sheet for today. A couple small rules changes for today:
-bunkers are not in play
-lift clean and place in your fairway and rough only. Balls in the woods including un mowed areas & fescue, hazards and incorrect holes are to be played as the lie
-there will also be a reminder about how casual water works

It should be a great day so please be on time so we can get things going on schedule! Note, if you had a tee time booked this afternoon, expect about a 20 minute delay due to the club championship tee times being pushed back

Below is the draw for tomorrow's final round of the Club Championship. We're pushing the tee times back and going with split tees as we think this is our best chance at getting tomorrow's round in. We will update tomorrow morning by 8am if there's any changes as well as any updates to the corn boil. We're hoping for the best weather wise as we really want to try and get this thing in. Jake Estabrooks fired an opening 69 and on the ladies side Allison Atkinson opened things up with a 90. There's a few players within a striking distance on both the men's and ladies side so tomorrow should be a fun final round!
