La Ligue de Régates d’Hydroplanes, ou Hydroplane Racing League, voit le jour en 2016 sur les bases de l’Association canadienne d’hydroplane (ACHA). Depuis 2011, l’ACHA aura permis au sport de croître, notamment en créant une structure opérationnelle performante, avec le développement d’une réglementation efficace et de nouveaux sites de compétition. La HRL est déterminée à faire évoluer le monde des courses d’hydroplanes en le positionnant comme un sport majeur et en lui donnant une image forte.

The Hydroplane Racing League was created in 2016 on what the Canadian Hydroplane Association (ACHA) had built over the years. Since 2011, the ACHA helped the sport grow by setting an efficient operational framework, implementing clear regulations and finding new racing sites. The HRL is now focused on developing the hydroplane racing industry and taking the sport to another level by giving it a strong image.

La saison 2027 marquera une nouvelle étape dans la carrière du pilote Francis Côté, qui fera son entrée dans la classe Pro Hydro au volant du V-109, jusqu’ici piloté par Dominic Maisonneuve.

L’embarcation arborera un nouveau numéro et un nouveau nom : le V-67 Team Turbulent.

Francis poursuivra également sa saison en classe Hydro 350 avec le H-23 Yellow Torpedo.

La HRL lui souhaite beaucoup de succès dans cette nouvelle aventure!

The 2027 season will mark a new chapter in Francis Côté’s career as he moves up to the Pro Hydro class, taking the wheel of the V-109, previously piloted by Dominic Maisonneuve.

The boat will sport a new number and a new name: the V-67 Team Turbulent.

Francis will also continue competing in the Hydro 350 class with the H-23 Yellow Torpedo.

HRL wishes him the best of luck in this exciting new chapter!
