Hey Wild Soles, Thanks sharing your photos and running routes on our page! It's great to see people out on the trails!

There is now also a Strava Wild Soles club you can join if you are using that app to track your runs.

Next week's Wild Soles route is at Little Mountain. Head to the top of the 'mountain' for a fantastic bird's eye view of Salmon Arm and Shuswap Lake. Here are copies of both the 2 km and 5 km routes.

Don’t forget to post your photos of your Covid 19 Park Hill Wild Soles run for you chance to enter a draw for a pair of running shoes from Kintec. The trails are in primed shape and Just yesterday we cleared the larger downed trees near the top of Outer Loop south so there shouldn’t be any major hurdles to scale.

Please remember to show your support for our sponsor Kintec. One on one fittings are available by appointment.

Happy trails.

Wild Soles 2020 - Covid 19 physical distancing version. While we can’t all run together, we want to encourage you to go out in family groups to explore our local trails and the emerging signs of spring.

Each week we will post the maps of the 2km and 5km Wild Soles trail running routes. We encourage you to print out the maps and head to the trails with your family to complete the distance of your choice. There will be no course markings in place, so you get to use your navigation skills while running! Or bike the loops if that is your preference. Choose a course, day and time this week that works for your family and get outside on our local trails for some fun, fresh air and activity. Bring a picnic lunch or supper to enjoy afterwards at the beach.

Take some pics, post to our page and encourage your friends and neighbours to do the same. Post your time if you want and challenge your friends to beat you!

Week of April 27 – Park Hill
Week of May 4 – Little Mountain
Week of May 11 – South Canoe

Regretfully, in light of the Covid 19 crisis we have decided to cancel this year's Wild Soles Trail Running Series. Hopefully we will be able to get this fantastic family activity back up and 'running' again next year. In the meantime getting out on the trails with your own family is a great way to maintain social distance.

Closer to the usual date of the trail series, we will post maps of our usual routes with the hopes that people will still get out to the trails and share their experiences on our page.
