Our classes are designed for ages 5β12 and focus on building confidence, coordination, discipline, and real self-defense skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Monday & Thursday
Weβll be training both NoGi and Gi, and our classes stay live and interactive the entire time. We use games, playful challenges, and movement based exercises to teach technique so kids stay engaged, active, and having fun while they learn.

Valentines Day on the mats was a complete success!
Our 'Soulmates to Rollmates' beginners Jiu Jitsu class was a ton of fun and it was great seeing couples laugh, learn, and try something new together.
Big thank you to everyone who showed up and to the teammates who came out to support and help create such a welcoming atmosphere.
If you are interested in starting Jiu Jitsu or want to try training with your partner, feel free to reach out any time. Always happy to help people take their first step onto the mats.

This weekend, things came together for our competition crew in a way that felt seamless and thatβs no accident.
When someone like Marcus is behind the scenes, offering support, sharing wisdom, and opening doors, things tend to flow.
Heβs the man who brought Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Canada. The one who gave us our lineage, our gradings, and our standard. And more than that, heβs always reminded us of what this is really about - Family.
Not just the kind youβre born into. But the kind you grind with, build with, grow with. The kind the Gracies built Jiu Jitsu on. The kind Marcus has always extended to us.

Salt Spring Island showed up.
Four competitors. One team. Heart, grit, and a whole lot of Jiu-Jitsu at Grappling Industries Vancouver this weekend.
π₯ Noah LaBelle β With just 4 weeks of training, Noah stepped up like a warrior, submitting one of the most experienced athletes in his gi division. He placed 5th out of 9 in Gi and 5th in No-Gi under 170 lbs. A fierce debut and a name to watch.
π₯ Kyan Host Robinson β After getting caught in a tough armbar early in his Gi bracket, Kyan battled on through both divisions. His resilience paid off with a bronze medal in No-Gi (under 135 lbs) and some huge moments of growth. Grit embodied.
π₯ Lohan Parker β Took 4th in a stacked 9-man Gi division, then rallied in No-Gi with sharp, technical attacks β securing a triangle and armbar finish to earn a hard-fought bronze medal in the under 170 lbs white belt bracket. Beautiful work under pressure.
π₯π₯ Coach Colton Koopmans β Competed in the brown belt under 170 division and brought home double gold, finishing every match by submission in both Gi and No-Gi. Leading from the front.
This weekend wasnβt just about medals β it was about testing ourselves, leveling up, and representing Salt Spring with heart.
We win together. We lose together. And we always grow together.
