Our boxes have made their way into the Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary gift shop. If you’re looking for a duck box or a bird house of any kind, they have a variety to choose from. Owls will roost in these boxes through the winter, and ducks and owls will utilize them in the spring for nesting. Proceeds from each sale will go to the Jack Miner Sanctuary and Ducks Unlimited Canada

We have spent every spare minute in the last few weeks working away on a special order of chickadee boxes for Cold Creek Conservation Area. Once installed, these homes will produce hundreds of fledglings each year. If you visit the conservation area make sure to keep your eyes out for these handsome little birds - and look for our boxes too!

We will build custom order birdhouses targeting whichever species you have in mind. Feel free to reach out to us with your designs or ask us about ours. These birdhouses will be available for custom order on our website soon with a variety of entry hole sizing available.k

Like-minded conservation efforts - teaming up with the Caldwell First Nation to make more ducks. We were able to install a number of boxes at the marina to ensure predator proof nesting for wood ducks and cavity nesters. Most of the boxes are visible from the boardwalk. It is a beautiful area to take in the sights and sounds of the marsh and hopefully see some wood ducks there in the spring! Together we are ensuring the future of waterfowl for generations to come.

We had the privilege of adding a few boxes to a recent wetland/habitat restoration project. This habitat is already attracting droves of wildlife including frogs, deer, geese, ducks and even a pair of bald eagles this past winter. Wood ducks will remember nesting locations that they encounter on their journey south and return to that same area the following spring. Here’s hoping that a few pairs find these ponds!

For years it has been a dream of ours to be able to capture some photos and footage of jump day - that day has finally come. This is why we do what we do! Making more ducklings is our goal and being able to witness our work paying off means so much to us. Truly a dream come true and one of the coolest moments we have witnessed in the world of waterfowl

We suspected a pair of screech owls were nesting in one of our boxes and our suspicions have been confirmed! The babies have hatched and the next generation of natural rodent control is well on its way. More pics to come as the owlets grow

Early morning box inspections are a great way to start the day! Lots of successes from last season and lots of owl signs from over the winter. We’ll be at the Big Buck Show in Oil Springs tomorrow. If you’re around swing by and say hi!

Our conservation mission was inspired by and that inspiration has led us to where we are today - we build, sell, install and maintain duck boxes in southwestern Ontario. More than 100 of our boxes are scattered around the southern portion of the province. We are thrilled that we are in a position to give back to the organization.
