Garden Update
(Thank goodness I took these photos BEFORE Venus the goat got in and ate my carrots, peppers, strawberries, and some corn 🫠😡)
So it looks a little different now, but I still want to show it off.
Gardening (and foraging) for me, isn't just a fun pass time.
It brings me great joy to be able to bring food from the earth, harvest it, and feed it to myself and my family.
This was an activity I grew up doing with my mom, who did it with her mom, and I now get to share it with my daughter.
It goes alongside Lane's addition of raising animals for meat, milk, and eggs. My family hunted for meat or talked to local farmers. It's cool to now BE that local farmer.
Strength, for me, isn't just about lifting heavy for the sake of lifting heavy. It's about overall health and wellness - of body, mind, spirit, and environment.
It's about keeping things simple, doable, and true to my values. It's about sustainability. And what's more sustainable than growing your own food, upcycling waste, building a strong body, and raising a family.

This isn't a "What YOU should eat" post.
It's a "What I eat, and why" post.
My goals have shifted over the years, as goals often do.
Fifteen years ago, my nutrition revolved around performance and aesthetics.
I wanted to jump higher, lift heavier, look better, and compete.
Now I'm in my thirties.
I'm growing babies, soon I'll be nourishing another through breastfeeding, and I'm thinking about how I want my body to serve me over the next 30, 40, and 50 years.
I want to build strong humans without leaving myself depleted.
I want to support healthy muscles and bones.
I want enough energy for my kids, my work, and myself.
That's changed the foods I intentionally prioritize.
The biggest takeaway from this post isn't my grocery list.
It's the process.
I intentionally think about the foods I want to eat every day, every week, and every now and then—and why.
That simple shift has taken a lot of the guesswork out of eating.
If I have a goal of eating several nourishing foods throughout the day, I know I need to start eating earlier and actually fuel myself throughout the day. (If you know, you know.)
Once I've hit those priorities, everything else fits in much more naturally.
It reduces the late-night "what do I feel like?" spiral.
It reduces the guesswork.
It gives me confidence that I'm giving my babies what they need while still taking care of myself.
And if I'm unsure?
I don't guess.
I get bloodwork done and look at what's actually going on.
Your goals might be completely different than mine.
Your food list probably should be too.
The point isn't to copy what I'm eating.
The point is to be intentional enough that your food choices consistently support the life you're trying to build.

Happy Father's Day to Lane Britnell
Thanks for instilling health, wellness, cooking, farming, play, nature, and so much more into our baby girl. I couldn't ask for a better partner in parenting.

The "personal" in personal training.
I don't ask my clients to do anything I'm not willing to do myself.
Yesterday was a good training day.
At 25 weeks pregnant, I hit some heavy lifts, moved well, and walked away feeling strong.
But the lift itself isn't really the point.
The point is that I train myself the same way I train my students.
I lift challenging weights.
I leave a rep or two in the tank.
I prioritize movement quality.
I manage fatigue.
And I adapt when life happens.
I have a general structure for my training week, but I don't panic if I miss a workout because I've been up all night with a sick toddler, have a busy work week, or simply need more recovery.
The goal isn't perfection.
The goal is consistency.
I don't rely on motivation.
I rely on systems, habits, and a strong understanding of why I'm doing this in the first place.
Because the truth is that even as a coach, I don't wake up every day excited to work out.
I just know that strength makes every part of my life better.
A stronger body handles stress better.
Recovers more quickly.
Moves through life with more ease.
Is less likely to be sidelined by injury.
And is capable of far more than most people realize.
That's the same approach I bring to every client I work with.
Not all-or-nothing.
Not punishment.
Not perfection.
Just strength built to last.

You don't need another workout challenge.
You don't need more motivation.
And you definitely don't need to start over... again.
What you need is a plan that fits your actual life.
The women I work with have careers, families, travel schedules, injuries, busy seasons, and days when motivation is nowhere to be found.
They don't need a perfect program.
They need a sustainable one.
That's what the Consciously Strong System is built for.
✓ Personalized strength training
✓ Weekly coaching and accountability
✓ Exercise form feedback
✓ Programs adapted to your goals, schedule, and available equipment
✓ Real support from a real coach
Some clients train at home.
Some train in a gym.
Some use kettlebells, some use barbells, and some are just getting started.
The goal isn't to fit your life around fitness.
The goal is to build fitness that fits your life.
I'm opening 3 coaching spots and applications are now open.
If you're ready to get stronger without living in the gym, comment "STRONG" or send me a message and let's talk.

One of the biggest misconceptions about online coaching is that you get handed a workout PDF and sent on your way.
That's not how I coach.
Every program is built around your goals, experience, schedule, equipment, injuries, and life.
You'll have demonstrations for every exercise, a place to upload videos, and personalized feedback on every lift so you always know what to improve.
It's real coaching.
Just without needing to drive to a gym at a specific time every week.
Applications for the Consciously Strong System are now open.
DM me "STRONG" or apply through the link in my bio.

CRC is growing...
Meet Coach Kristy.
Kristy is the new assistant coach here at Conscious Rewire Coaching, helping support students inside the 90-Day Consciously Strong System and beyond.
I first met Kristy back in 2016 when we were both training out of Synergy Strength. Since then, I've watched her continue to invest in her own growth, both as an athlete and as a coach. She has earned her StrongFirst kettlebell certification and is currently coaching kettlebell classes with Kettlebell Wellness.
What stands out to me isn't just her technical knowledge—it's that she already embodies the philosophy taught at CRC.
She understands that strength is built over a lifetime. That recovery is just as important as training. That exercise should support your life, not take it over. And that getting stronger should leave you feeling more capable, not more broken.
As part of the team, Kristy will be hands-on with programming, movement feedback, daily check-ins, and helping students build the skills and habits needed to become stronger, healthier, and more resilient.
I'm excited to have her on board and to continue growing Conscious Rewire Coaching with someone who genuinely lives the values we teach.
Join me in giving Coach Kristy a warm welcome! 👇

WHY MOST WOMEN STRUGGLE WITH CONSISTENCY
Not because they're lazy.
Not because they lack discipline.
Not because they need more motivation.
Not because they "don't know enough."
Not because they've given up.
Most women struggle because they're trying to force a generic plan into a very real life.
A life with kids.
A life with work.
A life with poor sleep,
sick kids,
travel,
stress,
appointments,
and unexpected chaos.
So they start a program that looks great on paper.
Then life happens.
And instead of adjusting the plan, they abandon it.
The women who stay consistent aren't necessarily more motivated.
They have a plan that bends without breaking.
When life gets busy, they simplify.
When energy is low, they adjust.
When they miss a workout, they don't quit.
They keep going.
That's why I don't believe in cookie-cutter training.
Your goals are unique. Your schedule is unique. Your challenges are unique.
Your training should be too.
What part of staying consistent do you struggle with most?
