BHS seniors set to play final home game in boys hoops

Seven Bellefontaine High School seniors will play their final home game in boys basketball tonight.

The Chiefs will battle Springfield Shawnee in a rescheduled game.

The seniors are:

Jamison Clement

Kaiden Foulk

Zylar Huffman

Brooks Johnson

Grayson Lotts

Jair Mundy

Patrick Stolly

The Chiefs are 11-10 overall, while the Braves are 8-12.

The JV game will start at 6 o’clock tonight.

BHS will open tournament play vs. Dayton Stebbins on February 26th at Centerville. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

The Bellefontaine Chiefs secured a huge CBC victory over rival Kenton Ridge tonight with a hard-fought 64-62 win, improving to 11-10 on the season.

Scoring for the Chiefs:
β€’ CJ Butler – 20 points
β€’ Jair Mundy – 17 points
β€’ Grayson Lotts – 10 points
β€’ Patrick Stolly – 7 points

Kenton Ridge’s Will Rastatter led all scorers with 24 points.

JV Result:
Bellefontaine 52, Kenton Ridge 43
β€’ Spencer Stolly – 16 points
β€’ Sam Jenkins – 14 points

Freshman Result:
Bellefontaine 43, Kenton Ridge 41

Bellefontaine won a non-league matchup tonight against the Piqua Indians, 68-54, on Senior Night at Bellefontaine.

Bellefontaine improves to 10-10 on the season.

For the Chiefs, four players led the way in scoring:
β€’ Grayson Lotts β€” 20 points
β€’ Jair Mundy β€” 14 points
β€’ CJ Butler β€” 12 points
β€’ Patrick Stolly β€” 9 points

For Piqua, Jay Hancock scored 20 points for the Indians.

In the JV contest, Bellefontaine won 53-37. Terrence Hayes scored 16 points, Sutton Daring had 15 points, and Sam Jenkins added 10 points for the Chiefs.

In the freshman game, Bellefontaine won 53-46. Zavion Perez scored 17 points, Caden Nickles had 14 points, and Tyrin Johnson added 10 points for the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are back in action Friday, February 13, 2026, at home against Kenton Ridge for the annual BHS Athletic Hall of Fame Recognition Night.
