Great community!

We still have some spots open in both our Kinder (ages 5 to 7) and Kid's Beginner (ages 7+) judo classes.

Judo is one of the most participated-in sports in the world and has been gaining popularity in Canada. Even though Judo is defined as "the gentle way" in Japanese, it involves fighting an opponent with throws, holds, chokes and locks.

As beginners, the kids learn how to break fall (fall properly), throw an opponent, and do some grappling (ground work).

Judo has many benefits:
- Body Awareness
- Fitness (Strength and Endurance)
- Discipline
- Lasting Friendships
- Self-defense
- Challenge
- Great Community
- Financially Accessible
- Lots of fun

So how do you register for our classes?

To start, you will need to be a member with our partner, the YMCA of Saskatoon. Once a member, you will be able to register for our classes through their online platform or in person.

Kinder Judo: there are 3 - 40 minute time slots between 5 and 7 PM. The coach will determine your time slot depending on your child's age and size.

Kid's Beginner Judo: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5 to 6 PM.

If you’re still on the fence, come to one of our in-club registration nights on September 8th or 9th from 6 to 7 PM and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have!

See you on the mats!
