Thank you for all the birthday love.

My day was lovely and included all the things I need,

My family, massage, and coffee.

Added bonus was Jacob being my photographer and a heated blanket to keep me warm.

The one day I did my hair during the holidays.

I took my holidays serious this year and tried to do the bare minimum because I knew this first week back was going to be busy.

I planned for it and I feel much better because I rested when I had the time.

This is often a mistake people make when trying to get active, they don't schedule enough rest, they only schedule moving and their body can't keep up.

Something I am also planning for is my client list being limited while I am busy with onboarding to new contracts (side bar, I do consulting work, I not only help people move, I help businesses keep moving too).

I will only be accepting MYPlan clients (I give you you plan, you move when you can, and we check in to see how you are doing). MYPersonal training will be offered to MYPlan clients as needed.

I have yet to take down ours and have no time in the next week so they will be staying up and I don't mind.

We build a plan that you can do on your own and include weekly support to make sure it is working for you.

How?

Book your free consult. This is where we chat and see where to start.

Once signed up for MYPlan, you will be giving access to the Trainerize app where we will build your plan.

Next, you book your weekly check ins so we can see how you are doing with your plan and make any adjustments you need.

How much?

100$/month

How long?

Totally up to you. Sometimes it's 1 month, sometimes it's 3, sometimes it's a year +.

Who?

MYPlan can work for anyone but I made it to help moms the most. It gives moms the flexibility to do their workouts when they can without having to leave the house which sometimes is really hard to do.

Exercise is most beneficial when we can do it often so finding ways to do that for moms includes home workouts around nap times.

All bodies are soft.

My 3rd year old deserves credit for this one.

He said it, and he said it lovingly with a smile on his face.

I smiled right back and hugged him in my soft arms and chest and said "they sure are!"

And, I'll do everything I can to make sure my kids keep saying just that with real love.

All bodies are soft.

That's the norm.

Soft bellies.

Soft arms.

Soft legs.

Only thing that shouldn't be soft is your bones and nails.

Everything on top of those hard bones is soft and movable so you can live your life.

Even your muscles are soft when they aren't contracted.

Test it out. Poke any part of you πŸ‘ˆ

(And if you poke something hard where it should be soft, get it checked out by a doctor)

How soft your body looks tells me nothing about how strong you are, how far you can run, or how healthy you are.

MY reasons.

I am here for lots of reasons but mostly because of these 3.

My oldest because he helped show me all I didn't know about the how to really support moms.

My youngest because he helped show me all I didn't know about pelvic organ prolapse and all the hard work and time it takes to recover.

My partner because he is my person and personal cheerleader. Without him, my dreams of MYP Active would still be just that, dreams.

And lastly, I am here because of me not wanting one more mom feeling so lost when they try to return to fitness after having baby like I did.

I want to give real support to moms when they are ready.

I want to be their support when they need someone who really understands what motherhood is all about and will never make them feel guilty about all the things that come up with kids.

I want to be their part of their community of support and I am happy to refer when it is needed.

I just want moms to feel like someone is listening and caring for them because I know how important it isβ€πŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œ

July Wednesday Workout.

Here is a Wednesday workout you can try anytime!

Do I need weights?

All exercises can be done with body weight and you can add weights when you are ready to progress aka it feels too easy aka you are getting stronger!

How many of each exercises should I do? How many reps?

This is up to you and your body.

How many sets?

You guessed it, up to you. Try doing each type exercise at least once (aka 1 set) and if you feel up for it try 1 more.

I'm not sure what some of those exercises are....
