HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the amazing women in our community who have raised little beings of their own - from young to old and biological mothers to "stage moms", these women make the world go round! This year alone we've had 3 new moms bring their little babies into the world 🍼👶🏻

Are you ready for some FUN out of the SUN this summer? Our Recreational Weekly Class program 💥RE-CREATION💥 is open for registration, with regular classes running Mondays to Thursdays throughout July 2026!

Pick your favourite class to join or try out something new. We have everything you could want from Ballet to Line Dance, from Beginner to Advanced. Your first class is FREE TO TRY so there’s no excuse!

Choose Drop-Ins, Punch Cards, or enroll for the whole month. DAS Members get discounts - it pays to stick with us 💚

We can’t wait to move with you this summer!

We've just finished our SECOND Volunteer Dance Class with Central Haven Special Care Home, and I couldn't feel more blessed.

4 DAS Volunteers came with me, Caelia, to lead a seated dance class for the Elders in Central Haven. Bluebell even joined us this time to add some sniffs and cuddles to the class for all the dancers.

We use favourite music from the 50's, 60's, and 70's to stretch, flow, weave, bop, clap, and shimmy together. Our volunteers finish the class with a demonstration of our own skills, including Line Dance and Ballet !!

I have waited for a long time to get the opportunity to do something like this. I am so grateful that Central Haven has welcome us and Blue into their regular programs and we can't wait to make this a regular part of our offerings 💚

Classes are on Thursday mornings at 10:30am, every 2nd week in July & August. Exact dates are coming soon - please get in touch if you'd like to be involved. We will also accept donations to help cover the time and expenses required for these classes, and all donations will be split 50/50 with Central Haven!
