We are very excited to announce that we were hand-picked and specially invited to become accredited with the Better Business Bureau!!

Having operated consistently and ethically for 9 years with no complaints, we were recently invited to apply and have just received notice of our unanimous approval for accreditation 🏅

I, Caelia, am very very proud of it. I don't go much for Business Awards as it usually feels like a popularity contest and I've never been interested in those. But this feels like an honest achievement with recognition for the work I HAVE been focusing on - providing consistent, high-quality, honest, and reliable service through both our administrative practices and in the studio 🌿

A lot of this work happens behind the scenes and I did not even know this was an acknowledgement I could receive. I'm thrilled to display this in our studio and to be a part of an exclusive invitation-only group of business that meet the standards set by the BBB.

Thank you to everyone who's been a part of this journey so far. We couldn't do it without you!! 💚💚💚

Today is the 🧡National Day for Truth & Reconciliation🧡

In partnership with the Persons Living with AIDS Network of Saskatchewan (PLWA), our owner, Caelia, would likento invite you to join us this evening in wearing orange and donating items or money to show our support for the Indigenous and Metis communities of Saskatoon.

Please take a moment to listen to the Land Acknowledgement provided to us by Katie with the PLWA last season. This is an issue very close to my heart, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to use our platform to raise awareness and promote support to those facing ongoing systemic challenges in Saskatoon.

This Wednesday September 30 is 🧡National Day for Truth & Reconciliation🧡

Our studio will stay open, with proceeds from the classes being donated to our Community Partner, the Persons Living With AIDS Network of Saskatchewan (PLWA Network). We’ve been working with the PLWA for over a year now, contributing to their mission to support and educate people affected with HIV/AIDS in Saskatoon and Saskatchewan. The PLWA is an Indigenous community-based non-profit organization right here at home and we are passionate about helping them with this work whenever possible.

This year, we are donating all proceeds from our Wednesday classes to the PLWA. We invite you to join us by contributing the following:

- Underwear & Socks
- Sweaters & Jackets
- Toques, Mittens & Gloves
- Toiletries

We also welcome cash donations via cash or cheque at the studio, or you can etransfer us at [email protected] (please include a message that it’s for the PLWA). We will tally everything up and make one donation on behalf of the Dance Alive community 💚

Feel free to join us on Wednesday for regular classes and 🔶WEAR ORANGE🔶 in support of the purpose of the day. If you have other ways to honour the day, please take time away from the studio at no penalty - you may contact us for Class Credit Options.

We care very deeply about the meaning of this day and want to encourage everyone to participate however they prefer. We carry strong values of community, support, respect, and truth at our studio, and we take this time to bear witness to the stories of Indigenous people on Turtle Island.

Thank you for joining us in showing our support for the individuals and communities around us that bear the burden of these wrongs, and helping us do our part to move towards reconciliation for a brighter future 🧡

We had a great time at the SSO + Ballet last night! No one quite knew what to expect but we had nothing to fear - it was absolutely stunning in so many ways 😍

It was incredibly special to witness the World Premiere of Atmosphere, a unique collaborative work by Saskatoon's Keaton Leier and composer Paul Leonard-Morgan. The standing ovation afterward was immediate and well deserved.

Of course, we were thrilled to enjoy excerpts from Sleeping Beauty and Romeo & Juliet as well. The dancing was superb, the costumes were spell-binding, and experiencing it all with the awe-inspiring live music from the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra was unlike anything I've ever seen before.

Thank you, ladies, for joining me on this beautiful one-of-a-kind evening in Saskatoon, celebrating our incredible talent right here at home 💚🩰🎻
