What an atmosphere at Joe Galagher Stadium tonight.

All good things must come to an end, and this years Prairie Dog Selects battled to the very end.
This years team was a special one!

Congratulations to Cadence Colburn on being named to the U19 Canadian National Championship All-Star team! The whole Prairie Dog Selects Family is very proud!

Wow, what a game!
The Saskatoon Prairie Dog Selects dropped their first playoff game against Ont1 Aurora Diggers 7-5. The Selects showed heart in battling back from a 5-0 deficit.
This was truly a team effort as every pitcher was in the game and almost every player was in the game at some point.
They are now due to play at 8:45pm this evening at Joe Galagher field. These ladies loved playing in front of a big crowd today and another big crowd tonight would be appreciated by the players.
Come on out and cheer on this awesome team!

After an excellent round Robin finishing with a 5 win and 1 loss record the Selects have earned a double life in the playoffs. They play Ontario 1 Aurora at 11:30am Saturday morning at Joe Galagher Field.

The Saskatoon Prairie Dog Selects have finished off their round robin with a 7-0 win vs AB2 Edmonton Warriors.
Dylann Rambally threw a complete game shut out for the Selects backed by some great plays by the defence.
The offence found ways to score almost every inning with a shout out to Cadence Colburn with another homerun.
This win moves the Selects into the top 4 in the tournament securing them a double life in the playoffs. They will either play at 11 or 11:30 tomorrow morning.

Another extra innings win for the Prairie Dog Selects 7-4.
The defence was a force today making plays and holding a strong Ontario team.
Jord started pitching and Tehya came in to close the game for the Selects.
The next game is 6pm vs Alberta at BVI

Tonight the Prairie Dog Selects went toe to toe with the Defending champs Langford Lightning. The Selects came up short 6-4 but it was a great game by both teams. The offence and defence was outstanding.
Jordyn started pitching for the Selects then handed the ball to Rhyan Sigmeth then to Tehya to close it out.
The girls fought hard but in the end the Selects came up short.
The Selects are back on the diamond tomorrow at 12:30 vs Ontario.

Big win vs Ontario D1 Nationals 10-2 to start day 3.
It took a few innings to get the offence going but the bats started to come alive.
Shout out to Cadence Colburn with the walk off home run!
Tehya started the game for the Selects and handed the ball to Jordyn to close the game out.
The next game is tonight at 8pm vs the Defending Champs from Langford BC. This should be a good one!

The Saskatoon Prairie Dog Selects are now 2-0 after day one with a win over Manitoba Westman Magic 8-5.
Jordyn started pitching before handing the ball to Dylann and then to Rhyan Sigmeth to close out the game.
Their defence was very good all day and the bats started to get hot as the day went on.
The girls next game is Thursday at 12:30 vs Ontario D1 Nationals.
A couple big games tomorrow and the girls are gaining momentum, follow along on gamechanger!

Great start to the U19 Canadian Championships with a big win over the Canada Cup Champion Surrey Storm.
The Prairie Dog selects pulled ahead in extra innings for the win with a Sac Fly by Cadence Colburn and a walk by Banerd to pull ahead 2.
Tehya started the game pitching followed by Dylann and Jordyn.
Shoutout to Jordyn Butcher with the homerun!
Game 2 is tonight after the opening ceremonies vs MB2.
