At PIT Fitness, it’s never been about chasing trends or throwing people into random workouts.
It’s about real coaching, real accountability, and building strength that actually carries over into everyday life.
With over a decade of training experience, Tyler and Courtney built PIT Fitness to be a place where people feel supported, challenged, and capable no matter where they’re starting from.
From one-on-one coaching to semi-private training, every program is designed around the individual, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
We understand that life gets busy, stress piles up, confidence can take a hit, and health can feel overwhelming at times. That’s why the goal isn’t perfection, it’s consistency, progress, and creating habits that last.
PIT Fitness is a community that pushes you to be better while still meeting you where you are.

Checking back in from last week, we spotted Kevin in the gym and getting after it once again.
Staying consistent with his training, Kevin has been putting in the work day after day, crushing Monster energy drinks and chasing bigger goals in and out of the gym. He’s trimmed down, leaned up and working on building those muscles.
One thing that’s definitely turning heads is the progress in his arms, with the hard work clearly paying off as he continues to build strength and size. Another strong week in the books and no signs of slowing down.
Keep going !

I’ve been feeling the weight of everything a bit more than usual.
Work stress has been constant, family responsibilities don’t really pause, and when you add in loved ones hospitalized and trying to stay on top of my own health, it can start to feel like a lot all at once.
Some days it feels like I’m just moving from one thing to the next without really catching my breath.
I know I can’t just keep pushing through it without giving myself some space to reset.
Even something as simple as getting outside for a walk or going for a nature hike helps me more than I realize.
Stepping away from screens, moving my body, and getting some fresh air clears my head. I’m also being more intentional with the basics like sleep, hydration, nutrition, and breathing.
The sun and warmer weather makes it easier.
It’s not about fixing everything at once, it’s about finding small ways to stay grounded while life is busy, and giving myself permission to slow down when I need it.
What recharges you?

There are not enough words to describe how incredible Courtney is!
She is the heart of our family, raising our three beautiful daughters with endless love, patience, strength, and guidance while somehow still giving everything she has to the people around her.
From building and running PIT Fitness together to handling the nonstop chaos of schedules, activities, responsibilities, and everyday life, she does it all with grace and determination.
She is not only an amazing mother to our girls, but the ultimate gym mom, constantly supporting our community, encouraging others, and helping create the welcoming atmosphere that makes PIT Fitness feel like home.
Through every challenge, every late night, every early morning, and every big dream, Courtney shows up fully for our family and our business, and none of it would be possible without her.
Happy Mother’s Day.

Local man reportedly “just trying one workout” accidentally discovers fitness, protein shakes, and the sudden urge to buy more gym shirts in every colour.
Witnesses say he approached the incline chest press with confidence, slight confusion, and the unmistakable energy of someone who said “I’ll just do a light workout today” and immediately did not.
Within minutes, life was changed, posture improved, and chest pump achieved levels previously thought to be reserved for gym selfies and motivational quotes.
Sources confirm they saw him with a White Monster in hand before it all went down.
Will he do his stretches and be back tomorrow? Stay tuned to find out!
Long before gyms existed, strength was not about numbers or progress. It was about responsibility.
After a battle ended and the noise faded, the warriors would return to the field. Not to celebrate, but to recover their injured, to recover their dead. No one was left behind.
That was the rule.
But lifting a body from the ground is different than fighting. It is awkward, heavy, and exhausting. Many could swing a weapon with power, but struggled with the first pull. Getting a lifeless weight off the earth was the hardest part.
So they began to train for it.
They lifted whatever they could find. Stones, logs, broken pieces of equipment and even each other.
When the next battles came, they moved with purpose. Where others struggled or needed help, they stepped in without hesitation. One warrior could lift and carry what once took several.
It became part of who they were. A quiet kind of preparation for something they all understood would come.
Eventually, the battles faded. The tools changed. But the movements remained.
Deadlifts and rows are a staple in many modern day workouts.
Theres just something about having the ability to pick up a fallen friend and bring them to safety.

It was a fun filled and high energy day at !
Linda didn’t just show up, she showed herself what she’s capable of.
She set out to beat her personal bests and she crushed it!
She fought for the axle clean & press, pulled out 13 deadlifts, held out for a new front hold PR, and lifted her first natural stone! She came home with some second place hardware too!
She is such an amazing woman and we are proud of all the hard work she puts in. She came in to be more active and get stronger but now she’s pushing herself to do things she never thought she’d do.
What an amazing thing our bodies are!
And what a beautiful life it is when we choose to use them.

My philosophy in business has always been simple: there is more than enough pie for everyone.
I don’t believe in a scarcity mindset or the idea that another coach’s success somehow takes away from mine. When people do great work, it raises the standard for everyone.
The shirt I’m wearing is from , who is an amazing coach here in Saskatoon, and I’m proud to support what she’s doing.
There’s room for all of us to grow, help people, and build something meaningful. Collaboration, respect, and supporting other coaches will always matter more to me than competition.

I’m doing the push up challenge as a reminder that movement is more than just physical. Every rep is a check-in. Mental health matters just as much as strength, conditioning, or performance, but it’s the one we’re most likely to ignore. Training gives us structure, purpose, and a way to release stress when life feels heavy. You don’t need to be at your best to start. You just need to show up. If you’re struggling, know you’re not weak and you’re not alone.
Taking care of your mental health is part of taking care of yourself.
Period.
