Back to school means back to schedules.
Earlier mornings. Packed lunches. Practices. Bedtimes.
Life starts getting structured again.
And while you’re busy getting everyone else back into a routine, don’t forget about yourself.
You don’t need to overhaul your life.
Just start putting yourself back on the schedule.
A walk. A workout. An earlier bedtime. Better meals.
Start small to build big.

🚨 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 🚨
NICOLE
After the birth of my son, my weight shot through the roof. Before I knew it, I was topping the scale at nearly 400 pounds. My body hurt all the time, and I couldn’t even walk up a flight of stairs without losing my breath.
I knew something had to change.
I decided to ask for help. I was absolutely terrified. I had spent over 20 years dieting, carrying years of shame and unrealistic expectations. Clearly, nothing was working.
So, Tyler met me where I was at.
We started with one-on-one training where we started with stretching and light cardio. Just getting me comfortable moving my body without fear or judgment. Seeing your confidence in me made confidence in myself grow and soon we began lifting weights!
There were times my anxiety consumed me and I would start crying. Tyler was calm, kind, patient and respectful. He talked me through it every time.
Eventually, we moved into semi-private training. I was nervous, but it was the push I needed. My confidence continued to grow, and PIT became a place where I felt comfortable, supported and part of an amazing community.
One of the things I love about PIT is that it isn’t a one-size-fits-all mentality. They meet people where they’re at. They create PERSONAL plans, pay attention, make adjustments and don’t believe in an all-or-nothing mentality.
That mentality had been my downfall for years and I realized I was setting myself up for failure.
My journey continues and there will be ups, downs, stalls and times I’m not consistent. But I know I don’t have to beat myself up l when I slip up. I deserve to give myself grace.
The stretches that were once my workout are now my warm-up. My body hurts less. I move easier. Lift heavier and I’ve gained confidence in the gym and lost 60 pounds along the way!
I’m proud to tell people PIT is my gym, and honored to call Tyler my trainer.
Thank you for helping me change my story.

“Okay, I’m back in my routine now. I’m going ALL IN. I’m going to eat clean, run every day, lift five days a week, quit drinking, quit smoking, get 15,000 steps every day, meal prep everything, and I’m never eating junk food again. This time I’m actually going to do EVERYTHING.”
Does this sound like you?
You don’t need to change your entire life once the kids are back in school. Pick one thing. Get good at it. Make it part of your routine. Then build from there. Start lifting a couple times a week. Get your steps up. Clean up one meal. Then another. Once those habits become automatic, add the next one. You don’t build success by trying to do everything at once. You build it by doing the right things consistently, one at a time. Back to routine doesn’t mean back to perfection. It means back to progress.
Let’s make it a lifestyle and let’s succeed this time.

Last weekend at .of.the.barbarians was so much fun!
The sun was shining, the atmosphere was amazing, and it was a great reminder of how supportive and welcoming the strongman community can be. More than anything, we were incredibly proud of .t.ivy, , and for showing up, competing, and giving it their all. Watching them challenge themselves, push through tough events, and represent themselves so well was the highlight of the day.
The sense of community was on full display, with athletes cheering each other on and spectators supporting every competitor. The burgers supporting the SPCA were delicious, and a huge thank you goes out to the volunteers who are truly the backbone of events like this. Their hard work behind the scenes makes days like this possible.
A big shoutout to and for putting together such a fun event and creating a great atmosphere for competitors, spectators, and the community alike.
We had an amazing time and can’t wait for the next one!
