Larry's Sports Exchange

Today, we share the news that Larry, founder of Larry’s Sports Exchange, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning.

He was more than a business owner. He was a dad, a mentor, and someone who believed deeply in showing up for the people around him.

He had a deep love for the game of hockey and was committed to helping people of any budget find their place in it. Whether it was a first pair of skates or a well-loved stick, he believed everyone deserved the chance to be part of the game.

Spending over 20 years working side by side came with its challenges, but it’s time we wouldn’t trade for anything. He helped shape the person I am today. He never missed a game. You could always hear him in the stands with his cowbells, horns, and a voice that carried through the arena.

He reminded us often that money can’t buy time. Because of him, we truly value the time we have with family, whether that’s on the ice or off. Those moments, and the memories we create together, are irreplaceable.

He will be missed by so many.
