We are Canada's oldest veterans', ex-service persons' and community service organization. You can join us whether or not you were in the military!

The Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans in Canada is Canada's oldest veterans' association. It was federally incorporated in 1917 and traces its history back to the colonial days when British and French regiments were sent to protect their colonies and on their return home, left members behind in Canada. These members banded together for fraternal and information purposes and eventually became The Arm

Remembering the life of Alfred Christensen 05/22/2019

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the ANAVETS Unit #38 (359 - 1st Ave. N.). Alf retired after 33 years from Intercontinental Packers. He was very involved with the ANAVETS and took pride in being a Rider 'Rep'. Alf loved sports, both as a participant and spectator. Please feel free to wear any sports jersey to his memorial. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Diabetes Canada (2301 Ave. C north #104). Condolences may be left at www.saskatoonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements entrusted to SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME (306-244-5577).
