🎓 Graduate post 🎓
Olivia graduated from Centennial Collegiate and will be attending the University of Saskatchewan in the fall. Olivia will enter the College of Education with a focus on Early Middle Years education.

Olivia’s favourite RIVA memory is this year’s team trip to Edmonton and getting to cheer on and bond with her teammates.

Casey graduated from Unity Composite High School and will be attending the
University of Regina to take Kinesiology and Health Studies. Casey will be continuing with her track and field career now at the university level with the U of R Cougars track and field team.

Casey’s favourite RIVA memory was the 2025 trip to Legion Nationals and staying at the AirBnB with the rest of the RIVA team.

We will be cheering for you Casey as you begin your next academic and athletic adventures! 💚💛

Aubree graduated from Martensville High School and will be attending The University of Saskatchewan, where she is enrolled in the College of Kinesiology.

Aubree on her favourite RIVA memory:
“My favourite RIVA memory is when we went to indoor nationals and staying with everyone in the house together and eating McCain cake!!”

Riversdale athletes continue to have great performances:

Naysa Woods and Jersey Lange have solid races in the U20 800m prelim.

Simon Granger places 10th in U20 high jump and has a second personal best in U20 hurdles.

Will Sawchuk & Preston Dodge run to PB’s with sub 9 min in the U20 3000m event.

Katie Rogers races a strong U20 3000m, finishing 6th.

As today is the beginning of the outdoor season here in Saskatoon with our first high school mini meet of the season, RIVERSDALE would like to introduce you to this month’s Profiled Athlete.

Hi! My name is Stacy Esemuru and I am a Grade 9 student at St. Joe’s High School.

A big pb I had in the 60mh last season was at the Saskatoon Indoor Games and I ran a 9.87 and at the K of C meet, I got a pb of 8.60 in the 60m.

My goal for the 2026 season is to qualify for outdoor nationals, get a pb in the 80mh (13.10-12.90), and run the 200mh as well.

My experience with joining Riversdale has been great - one of the best choices I’ve made. The coaches have taught me to push myself and they give me great constructive feedback . The sportsmanship and team encouragement amoungst RIVA athletes is like no other.

Outside of track, I love hanging out with friends listening to music reading and making bracelets during the summer.
