Congrats to Braidy Birdsall for her selection to Boston in the new WPBL league. Your presents as an umpire in the SDBUA will be missed but we will all be watching and cheering you and your team on in 2026.

An ambassador, builder, and trail blazer for baseball in Saskatchewan. Rest easy, Jim Baba.

It is with great sadness we announce that Jim Baba has passed away at the age of 69.

Jim was very proud to have been from Saskatchewan and he was our former Baseball Sask Director of Operations until he moved on to Baseball Canada.

We have lost an absolute baseball legend at the Saskatchewan, Canada and International levels.

All of our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Penny and his children and grandchildren.

RIP Babs
