Saturday, Scheer’s Carlson Gracie Team members stepped up and leveled up, challenging themselves as they continue their personal journeys in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Congratulations to all of you. The skill, the focus, the composure… it was on full display. Well done. On to the next chapter. 🙏🏼⚔️🥋🤙🏼

Day 2 of this double-header weekend brought the Youth In-House Xtreme Grappling Tournament. A full house. 100 competitors. One mat space filled with grit, heart, and growth.

Every match was a test of spirit. Win or lose, you carried yourselves with class and true sportsmanship. That’s what this is about. We’re proud of every one of you.

To our volunteers, thank you. These events do not happen without you.

To our officials, coaches, and pit crew — timekeepers and scorekeepers — you kept things running strong all day. You all rock.

And to the backbone behind the scenes, the Saskatoon Martial Arts Association, thank you for continuing to support and drive these events forward for our athletes and families.
