We are also saying farewell to Myla. Myla is moving to Auckland, New Zealand with her family. She plans to continue to dance at a studio in the north shore. She plans on working on solos this summer to take into the competition season in New Zealand. What Myla enjoys most about dance is the community, and the feeling of moving her body in a way were she can express her thoughts and emotions that feel too hard to say out loud. We will miss you, Myla!

We will also be saying farewell to Rhema. Rhema’s favourite part of dance growing up was watching the senior dancers and admiring them so much. She has always felt accepted and at home at dance, and that is something she will forever be grateful for. Next year, Rhema’s family is moving to New Zealand. She plans to continue pursuing dance for her final year. Even though she will be gone, Rhema knows she will never forget the family she has, the lessons she has learned, and all the amazing memories dance has given her. We will miss you, Rhema!
