📣✨We are so excited to share our new name and logo with you!
As many of you know, our school has been known as Blakey River City Irish Dance since our amalgamation last fall. That name has been an important part of our story, and we are so grateful for the history, growth, and community it represents.
As we look ahead, we wanted a name that feels true to who we are now and where we are going. Sask Irish Dance was chosen to honour our roots in Saskatoon, SK and to show the pride we have in the small but mighty place we call home.
As our dancers continue to compete across Canada and on the international stage, we want them to proudly represent where they come from. This new name gives our dancers a strong, clear identity — one that reflects our community, our province, and the heart of our school.
While our name and logo are changing, our values remain the same. We are still the same dance family, with the same commitment to supporting our dancers, celebrating their growth, and sharing our love of Irish Dance.
We are proud to begin this next chapter as Sask Irish Dance.
