Today may have been the first day of school, but our Group 4 skaters started the night before with their first official dryland training!
The ice practices are in the near horizon, but putting in the work OFF the ice is extremely important to get the results you want ON the ice. Plus it was a beautiful evening to be outside!
Thanks Coach Jason for leading the dryland practice and getting the skaters warmed up and ready for the season!

Wait, who melted the ice😂?
After a few days of coaching skills on FROZEN water, the Prairie Elite coaches took to LIQUID water for a little fun yesterday evening! They clearly had to work together as a team to get that many coaches on a paddle board without tipping 😁!!
We’re glad the coaches got to get out for a little fun on their own as they soaked up some of the last gorgeous days of summer😎

Day 1 of the 2026 Prairie Elite Camp is in the books!
From bear crawls to crab walks, outdoor edge training to indoor “get low” training - all designed to make these skaters FASTER!!!
These athletes are here for one thing: to sharpen their skills and get that competitive edge before the start of the season.
Because when they step on that ice and the starting gun goes off, there is only one feeling inside them:
The ⚡️Need for Speed!!⚡️
