That’s a wrap on the Kodiak Aces 2025/26 season!

Thank YOU a million times over to the players, coaches and families that we were able to spend the year with!!!! We are thankful for the memories made and the amazing friendships formed! 🥰

I have thoroughly enjoyed the last two seasons of u11 hockey with the Kodiak Aces and loved sharing a glimpse of our hockey world through these little IG squares! It filled my cup to be able to capture and share the boys in action through my camera lens and I’m happy that our families will have a ridiculous amount of photos to remember this season by lol 😆

Hockey parents 👏🏻 somehow we got the good ones! 🖤💛🖤

Gas, time, money, energy… all of it. People say hockey parents are built different—and they’re not wrong. For 7 months of the year, moms, dads, step-parents, aunts, uncles, friends and grandparents show up every single weekend. Early mornings, late nights, cold rinks, stale coffee, and rink burgers. And then we do it again and again on repeat. Dropping everything to be there. Carpooling kids so no one misses out. Doing whatever it takes.

We don’t have to do any of it, but we choose to. Every time. Because we love our kids, we love the game and we love THEIR love for the game. The wins, the losses, the heartbreak and the celebrations… it is much more than hockey, it’s guiding them to become good little humans 🙌🏻

Parents are always the first to arrive and the last to leave—and it doesn’t go unnoticed. You don’t do it for recognition, but you do deserve it. So here is my tribute to you, the ones in the stands, the fans cheering from far and wide on socials & on the live game feed. To the ones on the other side of the glass.

Thank you for the support, the laughs, the friendships, the tears, the funny moments, the tough breaks, donating treats, wrangling the rink rats, offering to host team events, the inside jokes, apres ski club, the dance parties, soooo many Creed songs, the ‘heart to hearts’, allllll of the core memories made and everything in between. From start to finish, it’s been an absolute blast and I know this is just the beginning of some lifelong friendships 🥹

It was such a fun night of hockey with our Kodiak fam last night (ended with yummy treats 🍩!)! There were a few questionable goals and some biased scorekeeping so for my own safety, there won’t be a final score posted 🤷‍♀️😁

Wrapping up our season’s last league game on a high note! The boys dug in deep; they passed and played like a team today— way to go Kodiaks!
