Sask U11 Rush Ball Hockey Team

Two members of our staff were able to take home some hardware last week at the National Championship in Mississauga.

The were able to capture their first medal at the National Championship with a bronze medal, beating New Tec in the Bronze Women's "B" game.

Our Trainer/Assistant Coach .nemeth , was the team Captain and was named Player of the Game from her team mates after the game, she played an aggressive hard working game and excellent on the Penalty Kill.

Our Manager, , was the Director of Player Personnel of the Storm ladies and was able to help with passing on his knowledge and bringing the team together as one. His recruiting along with a good mix of veterans was the right mix to bring home the bronze.

Congrats to the Prairie Storm on the Bronze Medal.

Now its time for the Saskatchewan Wolves Ball Hockey Club coached by our very own Head Coach John Richardson to go to battle starting next week to bring home some more hardware.

The will also be out in Mississauga with one of the special guest .paproski minding the net for the Women's "A" team.

As well as our special guests .magnus23 , Brock Harrison, and who will al be representing Saskatchewan with the Saskatchewan Buffalo Ball Hockey Club in the Men's "A" championship.

🌾Game 5 (Quarterfinals) - We faced a strong team from Saskatchewan in the Pigeons and they gave us all we could handle. They ended our tournament but not with out us competing to the end. 🌾

🔥Our Player of the Game was Walker Koyle. Walker was a positive leader all game. With a no quit attitude, continued to be positive and work hard all game 🔥

🌟Our hustler of the game was Beau Hawkins. Beau brought speed and a strong work ethic to the team. 🌟

This game brought our tournament to a close, thanks to everyone who supported the team and cheered them in.

🌾Game 4 - we came out hard and fast after a pep talk from Brock Harrison. The team played great in all zones and battled through penalties to beat the Thrashers 2 to 0. 🌾

🚨 Our Player of the Game was Theo Erickson. Theo was a force all morning using his speed and skill. He never quit and played with intensity 🚨

💪 Our hustler of the game was defencemen Ryker Marushak. Ryker made sure to clear the front of our net, and also caused some havoc in front of the other new on the power play💪

Our next game is Friday afternoon at 3:30 against the Sask Pigeons in Saskatoon at Merlis Belsher Place on Rink #2.

We had Team Canada and Sask Ball Hockey royalty do our starting line up today in Brock Harrison. Thanks for getting the team fired up.

Brock moved us to the Warman AAA Wildcats room, for the game and brought 2 of his world Championship hats that were given out to our team players Jett Sadoway for his hustle and team work, and Declan Michaliew for his positive attitude and team work.

It's game day and its out last Round Robin game vs the Thrashers.

Ball drop will be at 10:15 this morning, at the Warman Home Centre Communiplex in Warman.

Help us finish off the round robin with a boom.

🌾Game 3 did not go in our favor, but the players never quit on each other. The effort was there against the powerful Calgary Fury. Give our team credit for battling hard till the end🌾

🧱 Our Player of the Game was goalie Jake Ryder. Jake made many big saves as he stood tall for his teammates. He was a competitor right till the end, he made a massive glove save in the second period🧱

🪨 Our hustler of the game was defencemen Lane Myren. Lane used his speed to interrupt many passes, and never quick including a big back check late in the game to stop a scoring chance 🪨

Our next game is Friday Morning at 10:15, against the Thrasher in Warman at the Warman Home Center Communiplex.

We are back at it tonight for a game against our neighbors in Alberta the Calgary Fury.

Ball drop is at 7:15 at the Martensville Rec Centre in Martensville.

Come out and help power the Rush to a big win. Your noise will be key for them as it's the second game of the day

🌾Game 2 was not the outcome we wanted, but the team played right till the end. We lost 4 to 1 to a very good Victoria Vipers team.🌾

🧱 Our Player of the Game was goalie Tommy Lee. This was Tommy 1st ball hockey game and he made some big saves. Tommy stopped 32 of 36 shots. 🧱

🪨 Our hustler of the game was Dylan Birnie. Dylan was a force from the back end. He kept the Vipers to the outside and moved the ball up nicely on the break out. 🪨

Our next game is Thursday night at 7:15 in Martensville at the Martensville Rec Centre vs Calgary Fury.
