Finding this vintage phone was magical. Not only because I had one growing up but because it inspired a photo moment to reconnect with 7-year old me...

If I could call her... I'd tell her...

The things that make you different will one day become the things that make you unforgettable.

Spend less time looking in the mirror and more time looking at the sky, walking in nature and sharing moments with those who make you smile.

To run and play without second guessing it.
To laugh until her stomach hurts and do it all again.
To take up space without apologizing for it. To stop saying sorry without having a reason to...

I'd tell her that life is far too precious to spend it at war with herself and that some battles are worth letting go.

I'd tell her that her body will carry her through adventures, heartbreaks, celebrations, and moments she can't even imagine yet and that her future is always unfolding. To trust the process and have faith over fear.

I'd tell her that not everyone will understand her or like her. To be kind anyway and that confidence takes practice. That authenticity will always be more powerful than perfection.

And that one day she will help others see the beauty in themselves too.

I had THIS exact phone in my childhood home and I have been so surprised to learn others did, too!

What started as a fun prop quickly turned into a very meaningful concept or our MINI beach shoot.
