As a member of Gymnastics Canada Gymnastique and Gymnastics Ontario we share in the responsibility to promote and achieve enjoyment, physical development and personal skills though gymnastics. Since 1977 the club has come along way from over 100 participants and a volunteer staff, to 1000 plus participants and paid staff. We offer a variety of programs for all ages and ability levels. Some of the programs are pre-School, recreational and competitive programs, power tumbling, school field trips, day camps, training camps, parties, and fitness programs. SSMCG takes pride in all its accomplishments. The club is home to several Provincial and National Champions. Our Club has contributed to the program development of gymnastics in both Canada and the United States and has assisted in the development of coaches. The Sault Ste Marie Gymnastics Club continues to gain local, provincial and national recognition. SSMGC has provided gymnastics to the city of Sault Ste Marie for over 30 years and looks forward to providing many more.
