Testing details, working out recipes, and getting excited for our very first Sunset Reset. đż
Today itâs lavender shortbread cookies. Next week itâs sunsets, reflection, connection, and the official launch of The Reset Lounge.
Weâre putting the finishing touches on an experience designed to help people slow down, take a breath, and reconnect with themselves and others.
Sometimes the smallest details create the most meaningful experiences. â¨

⨠We canât wait to share the Reset Lounge with you this summer. â¨
What began as a vintage Boler trailer and a simple idea has grown into a unique wellness experience designed to help people pause, breathe, reflect, and reconnect.
The Reset Lounge is a cozy, welcoming space where guests can step away from the noise of everyday life and enjoy a few moments dedicated entirely to themselves. Through guided reflection, journaling prompts, aromatherapy, mindfulness activities, meaningful conversation, and creative experiences, our goal is simple: to create opportunities for people to reset.
Whether weâre parked at a winery, community event, workplace, retreat, festival, or lakeside gathering, the intention remains the same, to offer a gentle reminder that wellness doesnât have to be complicated. Sometimes all it takes is a few intentional minutes to create meaningful change.
Seeing the excitement from our masterâs students as they explored the space for the first time reminded me why we started this journey in the first place.
We are so grateful for everyone who has supported this vision and we canât wait to welcome you into the Reset Lounge this summer. đ

There I wasâŚ
Sitting on the porch, enjoying a rare moment of complete peace and quiet, soaking up the morning.
Then suddenlyâŚ
âHey Girl! Whatcha doin?â
đžđ
One fluffy Bernedoodle later, my relaxing moment looked a little different than I had planned.
Life is funny that way.
We donât always know whatâs coming next. We create plans, set goals, and imagine how the future will unfold. Then something unexpected shows up and changes the picture entirely.
Sometimes itâs a challenge.
Sometimes itâs a detour.
And sometimes itâs the next best chapter; one you never could have written or imagined for yourself.
So donât get too attached to the exact path.
Stay open.
Stay curious.
Stay enthusiastic about what youâre creating through the choices, habits, and small actions you take every day.
Your future is being written right now, one decision at a time.
And quite often, it turns out even better than you planned. â¨

What are you carrying that was never yours to hold?
Stress.
Expectations.
Old hurts.
The pressure to keep everyone else happy.
Responsibilities that belong to other people.
Over time, these things can become heavy. They weigh on our minds, our bodies, our relationships, and our sense of self.
Sometimes healing begins with a simple but powerful question:
What is mine to carry, and what can I let go of?
Imagine feeling lighter.
Imagine releasing the thoughts, patterns, and burdens that have been holding you back.
Imagine feeling the wind at your back, the sun on your face, and a renewed sense of freedom and possibility.
At K. Dool Wellness, we help individuals, couples, and families move beyond survival mode and reconnect with what matters most.
Whether youâre looking for a fresh start through our 2-Session Reset, individual counselling, family-based counselling, or one of our wellness programs focused on stress, burnout, self-compassion, and personal growth, weâre here to help.
You donât have to carry it all alone.
Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is set down what no longer serves you and create space for something new.
Feel lighter.
Feel stronger.
Feel more like yourself again.
And let yourself shine from within.
⨠Complimentary 15-minute consultation available.

Imagine opening your inbox this summer and seeing an automatic reply that says:
Out of Office.
Not because youâre sick.
Not because youâve hit a wall.
Not because your body finally forced you to stop.
But because you intentionally chose rest.
One of the things I hear most often from clients experiencing burnout is, âI kept telling myself Iâd slow down after this project, after this deadline, after this season.â
Yet somehow the finish line keeps moving.
Burnout doesnât usually happen because of one difficult day. It happens when we spend too many days, weeks, months, and years ignoring our need for rest, recovery, connection, and joy.
This summer, I want to encourage you to consider a different question:
What if rest wasnât something you earned after exhaustion?
What if it was something you prioritized before burnout arrived?
Whether itâs a week at the lake, a long weekend away, an afternoon with your feet up and your phone off, or simply creating more space in your schedule, recovery matters.
Your nervous system needs downtime.
Your mind needs quiet.
And you deserve moments that arenât productive.
Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is set an out-of-office message and mean it.
đ Wishing you a summer that includes both meaningful work and meaningful rest.

People often ask me what my favourite part of the rental property is.
Itâs hard to choose just one spot because every corner of this special place offers something unique. But if Iâm being honest, I always seem to gravitate back to the waterfront gazebo.
Itâs where mornings begin with coffee and a journal. Itâs where deep conversations happen with friends. Itâs where you can finally exhale, listen to the waves, and enjoy a few moments without rushing to the next thing on your to-do list.
As women, weâre often caring for everyone else. Sometimes we forget what it feels like to slow down, rest, and reconnect with ourselves.
This little corner of Lake Superior has a way of inviting you to do just that.
Whether youâre planning a girlsâ getaway, a wellness weekend, a mother-daughter retreat, a bridal gathering or simply a peaceful escape from the demands of everyday life, this is a place to reset, reflect, and recharge.

Something new is taking shape at my practice!
Over the past several months, Iâve been exploring a vision that combines my background in mental health and wellness with beautiful, restorative experiences designed specifically for women.
Introducing âThe Reset Loungeâ.
A mobile womenâs wellness experience built around a vintage Boler trailer, designed to create space for women to pause, breathe, reconnect, and reset.
Imagine:
⨠a sunset winery gathering
⨠a lavender field wellness evening
⨠a lakeside journaling experience
⨠a womenâs networking event with intention
⨠a cozy nervous system reset space at your retreat or special event
As a Registered Social Worker, I know how many women are carrying stress, burnout, caregiving responsibilities, leadership pressures, and the constant feeling of needing to do more.
The Reset Lounge was created as an invitation to do the opposite.
To slow down.
To reconnect.
To breathe.
This summer I am exploring collaborations with wineries, lavender farms, resorts, event venues, and organizations throughout Northern Michigan, Ontario and beyond.
If you know of a space that might be a beautiful fit, Iâd love to connect.

Comparison has a way of pulling us further and further away from appreciating our own lives.
We look sideways so often that we stop noticing the strength it took just to get ourselves here.
đŤ Maybe your win today was walking a distance you couldnât before.
đŤ Recovering from an illness.
đŤ Getting through the day while carrying something heavy internally.
đŤ Showing up for yourself instead of abandoning yourself.
đŤ Doing things differently.
đŤ Trying again.
đŤ Resting.
đŤ Starting over.
We are not all running the same race.
We are not carrying the same things.
And we are not meant to move at the same pace.
Your life does not need to look like someone elseâs to be meaningful, beautiful, or worthy of celebration.
Stay in your lane. Honour your own timing. Celebrate the quiet wins too. đ¤
