If you are driving along the North Shore of Lake Superior, here is a wonderful opportunity to stop and stretch your legs. Follow the wayfinding to Terrace Bay Beach and head east on the boardwalk. There you will find a 300 m trail, maintained by the Casque Isles Hiking Trail section, that leads to this spectacular set of Parks Canada's Red Chairs. This trail is also on the Ondago app! Enjoy your Visit Terrace Bay!

Groups from the Nor'wester Voyageur Trail Club and Casque Isles Hiking Trail spent part of their Sunday on the trail. Clearing trail, fixing signs and markers and tightening up the puncheon bridge over the Blind Creek. A great day to be outside!

Did you know that trail work happens all summer long? You may have even encountered sections of the Voyageur Trail that seem very grown in and in need of clearing. That work is typically done by volunteers, and for the most part the task is completed by loppers and smaller handsaws. With very minimal instruction, you too can be a trail hero. Are you willing to help? Head over to our website and fill out the volunteer form. Your information will be passed on to the appropriate club executive who will be in contact with you.
