We wanted to let you know that the courts are now open! A big thank you to the small group of members who came out yesterday and today to complete the setup. If you have registered, you should be able to login and book courts. If you need to register, you can do so here (please allow us a day or two to activate your booking profile).

A couple of notes:
1. The water has not been turned on in the clubhouse. Please refrain from using the washrooms until further notice. Washrooms are available in the community center.
2. If you are playing on court 3, please be careful as there are some wet leaves up against the fence just adjacent to the court.

I hope you are all enjoying the winter and the long weekend! It seems like a long way away, but it will soon be time for outdoor tennis! Membership is now open for Heron Park Tennis Club and our opening day will be Saturday April 4. You can sign up here: https://heronparktennis.com/s3/index.php/application-form

We have some exciting events planned for 2026, so please explore our website to see what we have planned! We will be following the same membership process and using the same court booking system as last year. Please consider signing up early as this will ensure no delays with your booking profile being activated when the season starts. For returning members, you will be able to use the same login information as last year and new members will be sent a username and password to login to court booking.

Unfortunately due to the weather this weekend, we have decided to delay opening day and the spring cleanup. Opening day will now be Saturday April 12 at 10am. Hope to see you there!

Do you or anyone you know want to give tennis a try but don’t know where to start? Heron Park Tennis Club and have you covered! All Heron Park junior and adult members who identify as beginner level players are eligible for 4 free group lessons with a paid club membership. These lessons will take place on Saturday mornings in May (May 10, 17, 24 and 31). To sign up, fill out the club membership form here: https://heronparktennis.com/s3/index.php/application-form and indicate you are a beginner level player. The club will then circulate a sign up sheet for the lessons closer to the start of the lessons. Additional paid learn to play group lessons may continue throughout the summer depending on interest.
