Another incredible piece has been added to our Arts and Culture collection🌻🪵🌟

Thanks to Tourism Gravenhurst we're thrilled to showcase this beautiful wood carving by talented Jake Rhodes. 🪵🌟

Jake has been carving for 8 years and has he ever left his mark on the competive carving scene.

It all started for Jake in Pemberton and has lead to him taking the 1st in the US open in 2023.🏆

Now living in Burks Falls with his wife and two sons, Jake carves full time, honing in his detail and skill to an unreal level, loving to carve a good piece of wood into all sorts of wildlife.

Celebrating Art and Cultural
We were thrilled to showcase the incredible talent of artist Sherri Breuker at this year's Severn Bridge Fall Fair.

Through our Art's and Culture grant from Tourism Gravenhurst we were proud to purchase one of Sherri's stunning pieces of artwork for our community.

Sherri is a contemporary acrylic painter who created fun and funky animal-themed artwork for lovers of color. After rediscovering her passion for painting in retirement. Sherri attended Milan Art Institute and every course she could find, which then helped her develop her own signature style. Her husband Steve built her the sweetest backyard studio where she transformed the space into a vibrant creative oasis - right down to the spray -painted floors.

Born and raised in beautiful Muskoka, Sherri spent more than a decade away before returning to the place that will always feel like home. She is the proud mom of two amazing children, who continue to inspire her every day.

Did you spot the incredible masterpiece as you walked down the path beneath our umbrella installation
☂️🖌️💙💛

This beautiful piece was created by Todd Sullivan.

Todd has been an artist for more than 40 years. He has worked as a storyboard artist, character designer, layout artist, animator, illustrator, comic book artist, sculptor, painter, and College Art teacher. TV shows he has worked on include Darkening Duck, If you give a mouse a cookie, Superbook, Takes from the Crypterkeeper, Tiny Toons, Alladin, Good Troop and Harry and his bucket of Dinosaurs.
He lived in Severn Bridge for over twenty years and still has friends and family there, he currently resides in Orillia with his family.
