The 5’ S .. correct ways to drink water..!
START
Start your day with warm water in the morning as it helps flush out the toxins that have accumulated overnight and cleanses your digestive tract to get you ready for the day! It also increases your metabolism which promotes weight loss.
SIT
Standing and drinking disrupts the balance of body fluids. You may accumulate unwanted excess fluid in your body if you drink while standing up which can often lead to arthritis. It also affects the digestion and absorption of minerals which leads to other problems as well.
SLOWLY
Drinking water in small sips allows the body to process the nutrients and minerals well. It also makes it easier for our kidneys to process all the fluids.
STEADY
Steadily drink water over the entire day. Avoid gulping down more water at a time, do not flood your stomach.
SILENT
Put your Water Glass on Silent Mode while eating. Ancient medicine and Ayurveda strongly recommends that one should not drink water with their meals. You can have a larger amount of water at least an hour before and after mealtimes but not during meals. Having too much water near your mealtimes can dilute the digestive acids and mess up the proper digestion of foods. If you must drink, then you can take a sip or two at most during your meals.

THE RIGHT WAY TO BREATHE DURING EXERCISE
The good standard during strength training is to inhale on relaxation and exhale during exertion. But For endurance & cardio, you generally breathe in and out through the nose or, when intensity ramps up, through the mouth. Here, a few breath-control tricks to try in your next work out:
✔ For those who tend to hold their breath, encourage yourself to count each rep out loud.
✔ If you experience side-stitches while running, suggest exhaling during the left footfall (not the right).
✔ If you can’t catch your breath, stand tall with your hands behind your head to open the lungs and allow for deeper inhalations—don’t bend over with hands on knees.
✔ To gauge exercise intensity, use the talk test: If the person can’t talk much, they’re in the high-intensity range. If they can carry on a conversation, the intensity is low to moderate.
✔ When cooling down or stretching, deep, slow breathing helps calm the body and aid in recovery.
Remember breathe is unnoticed, until you count.. 🧘♂️ 🧘♀️
