April 2020, a new cardiologist had seen some small but promising research on POTS. “Get as fit as you can, and maybe you’ll see a remission.” I wasn’t working. I wasn’t driving. I was using a cane to get around more often than not.. He was not wrong. My biennial neurologist appt was a contrasting reminder of where I came from, and the new life I’m living. It wasn’t easy. It still isn’t easy. But what in this life ever is? We are fearfully & wonderfully made and I am in awe of what our bodies can do. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and had to share. If you’re feeling stuck and needing someone in your corner, message me. You are worth fighting for 💙

Fun 10k to kick the season off 🏃🏻♀️ Love the energy that races bring! Thanks for another great event! Today was a good reminder that I need to believe in myself & my training (imposter syndrome is real). Farther or faster for next one? Heck Yes 🙌

Did you know? A long-term study from Sweden revealed an impressive link between fitness and women’s brain health.
Women who maintained high fitness levels in midlife were almost 90% less likely to develop dementia later in life. Only 5% of the most active participants were diagnosed, compared with up to 32% of women who were less active.
Even when dementia occurred, it appeared roughly 10 years later in the fit group, highlighting the powerful protective effect of long-term cardiovascular health.
This study reinforces an important point: staying active during midlife is not only beneficial for your body, but it’s also one of the best ways to safeguard your brain for the future.

Beautiful day to get outside and move your body. Pausing & reflecting as part of my 2026 habits. What are you thankful for today? Who’s in your corner that encourages you to keep dreaming and trying new things?

He is grit, strength, and heart. He is an overcomer and a never-quitter. He is living in the moment and for each moment. He’s my inspiration, hero, and my dad. He ran the race he wanted to, and what a privilege to get to run alongside him. I will cherish yesterday for all of my days. 💙

🌿🍂September Reset: Align with the Season
As the seasons begin to shift, nature reminds us that change doesn’t have to be sudden or harsh. It can be gentle, intentional, and rooted in growth.
September is a quiet invitation to come back to yourself 💕
To pause. Reflect. Reset.
If summer felt scattered or overwhelming, or just plain busy - that’s okay. This is your moment to realign—with your body, your mind, and your goals.
🌾 Move with purpose
🌾 Nourish yourself well
🌾 Build strength slowly
🌾 Choose consistency over intensity
This isn’t about extremes. It’s about steady progress, guided by support, and inspired by the natural rhythm of the season.
If you’re ready to create positive change for ✨you✨ - I’m here to walk with you.

No pics of me crossing the finish line because I was 20 minutes faster than I said I’d be 🙌💪🏼 Some back story: Saying yes to this half marathon didn’t make sense. I’ve had an incredibly hard year. But that pull to do something hard that *I* could actually control made it make sense for me. Training wasn’t where it should have been. Sleep has been elusive. Cortisol is high. Doing something physically hard when life is hard - is not the answer for everyone or in all seasons. But it was def the right call for me. This run was all heart. All grit. It was personal and it was full of community. It was being lifted up by friends & clients weeks prior right up to the day. It was grief and beauty and hard and joy.

It’s more than the runners high. It’s processing the week that’s past and what’s to come. It’s working through challenges, rage, and grief. It’s a celebration of the body as it is today. It’s the smile of other runners. It’s pushing through something intentionally hard so when the unexpectedly hard comes up, you’re ready. It’s the physical and mental strength. It’s the power. It’s the quiet rhythm, the repetition, the peace. It’s one foot in front of the other because *that* you can control when there’s so much we cannot. It’s the cooling rain and the hot sun.

🙌 I’m a nervous solo runner but this gorgeous morning (not to mention we are away in the 🗻) was calling to me so I laced upon anyway. We miss out a lot if we stay in our comfort zone - so get out there!
