The Antediluvians ran (and walked) for the cure today - we had a great group, and raised more than $7100 for a really important cause - finding a cure for breast cancer 🩷 🍒

The 🏆 comes home! The boys (and Sandra!) played an amazing game today - and ended the season with a five-way tie for top try scorer on the season (Chris Quinn, Frazier Andiel, Ryan Wick, Rob Gagne, and Tinus Swanepoel).

Thank you for a great game, Calgary Cobras RFC and great hosting, Red Deer Titans Rugby Club!

Looking forward to the Davey Graham Cup game, remembering Dave Thomas, and the excellent hosting of the Red Deer Titans Rugby Club.

Come join us as we celebrate our brother and friend, Dave Thomas, at the Annual Davey Graham Cup old boys game!

This is our third year at the Icebreaker tournament and the Twilighters did a great job hosting. We had a ton of fun, and walked away pretty happy with our record. Thank you to the Cascadia Masters Rugby Union for letting us join you once again!

Special shout out to Frazer Andiel who was named man of the match(s) for the Antes!

(Next year, I’ll remember to charge the battery on my real camera 🫠 - thanks to the folks who captured the action with their phones!)

Would we have liked to put some points on the board against BC? Yes. Definitely. Did we have an amazing time playing a really great team? Also yes, also definitely! If you scroll to the end of the photos, you’ll see how far we’ve come since our first game in Victoria in October 2023: four women for the Antedivas at that game (shout out to Sandra Maris, Siân Match, Tricia Hamm and Jody Virr, our OG OGs and our matriarchs). We had 15 Divas take the field this year: long time players with skills and a few of rookies. We’re excited to continue to grow the old girls game in western Canada, along with a fun rivalry and friendship with the BC Selects! Next year, we’re gonna win …

Special shout out to Jody Virr who was named woman of the match(s) for the Antedivas!

Another excellent weekend in BC for the Cascadia Masters Icebreaker Tournament, hosted by the Burnaby Twilighters!

On July 26, the Antediluvians were honoured to join the Strathcona Druids Rugby Football Club, Rocker's Athletic Club - Women's Rugby, and other friends to celebrate the life and legacy of Scotty Wright with the Wright family. All ages touch rugby, a men’s contact 15s game and some women’s 7s games were played - food, music, and memories were shared!

Very fun game with the Nor'Westers Athletic Association Alumni today - rain won’t keep us away!
