Based on Vancouver Island, Polar Bear Tents has been a family-run business since 1997, building dependable tents for hunters, campers, trappers, and outdoor workers who need gear that lasts.
We build:
• Heavy-duty canvas wall tents
• Lightweight nylon tents for fly-in and remote trips
• Aluminum frames and accessories — stove kits, porches, liners, floors, and tarps
Our wall tents are made from 10.10 oz Sunforger marine-grade cotton canvas, treated for water resistance, mildew, and fire retardancy, with double-stitched seams, quality zippers, and solid hardware. Frames are built from 1.5″ aluminum tubing for strength without unnecessary weight.

Our canvas tents typically range from about $1,000 to $2,100, making them hundreds less than many comparable wall tent brands, while still using the same trusted materials and construction.
